This is a free daytime parking area in central Odda, suitable for visiting the town. Overnight stays are prohibited, with signs specifically forbidding motorhome camping. A riverside walk to the lake takes about half an hour each way, and the bus station is only a few minutes away.

Good free day parking. There's a nice walk along the river up to the lake (about half an hour each way). Used this also to park whilst we took the bus to Trolltunga, the bus station is only a few minutes walk away. Not for overnight stays as is stated above.
Overnight stays are not allowed. This parking area would be suitable during the day; there is a sign prohibiting overnight stays, and the police station is opposite. I left for an industrial area just below, less glamorous but without a prohibition.
Good free car park, right in the centre, ideal for a day trip. No fees and no prohibition signs.
There is a sign prohibiting motorhomes.
