Waterside overnight parking, quiet nights

Dreamlike place on the fjord. We spent one night here and it was simply beautiful.

A lot of accurate information has already been written about this place. I have attached a photo from above. People, this is not a paid campsite where everyone buys their own pitch. It is a place beside a road, and there is easily room for 6–7 motorhomes with comfortable spacing. Open land and space for everyone. I was lucky enough to be there completely alone.

Wonderful place to spend the night, directly by the sea. We were completely alone. The road was not bothersome at all.

A really beautiful place on a small road with a view of the Alta Fjord. Access is through a gap in the guardrail. We were there with two campers with enough space between us, until a third squeezed into the gap, leaving only 1 meter from each of us. Please respect people's space and move on if the place is already occupied by two campers.

Almost no traffic at night. Magnificent view. Relatively sheltered from the wind. Access to a small beach below.

Superb view with dolphins passing by, peaceful, and the road has very little traffic. There are fish, but they are small and must be released. There is room for two motorhomes, even large ones, and 100 meters farther on there is another place for two or even three motorhomes. Few motorhomes pass by here.

Really nice parking, also for the night! The road is not busy at all during the night and the views are amazing. We even saw two dolphins in the morning while drinking our coffee!

Amazing place. We went fishing, swimming and kayaking, and saw dolphins.
