Pleasant place despite a technical access road. However, the experience was spoiled by a cyclist behaving openly in a disturbing, harassing, and threatening manner. Ideal place to spend the night in a van. Difficult access for motorhomes. I had no mosquitoes in late August. The road above is very quiet at night. Wonderful bucolic view of the Dordogne, the little pebble beach, and the trees when waking up. Tip: have breakfast at Pilea Café in Beaulieu!✦Translating

Difficult access to this spot, but if you continue along the road away from Beaulieu, there are other spots with possible river access. Two paths descend on the left at the crossroads, and access is easier.✦Translating

We just spent the night here. Superb and truly isolated place in the middle of nature. However, access is quite discouraging. Watch out for your paintwork, as branches scrape along the access track. Advice: do not arrive at night.✦Translating

Space for approximately four vehicles. Two level spaces and two somewhat uneven ones. A couple of fishermen have left their vehicles here. Shade and no mosquitoes or insects. Located beside the road; if there is no traffic, you barely notice it. We slept very well.✦Translating

Superb spot by the water. Road noise is not a problem except when people honk; otherwise it is quiet and we saw almost no one. Fishermen arrive early in the morning at 6:30—they were very kind and quiet—or late in the evening, leaving once the sun has set.✦Translating
