Been here?
A riverside campsite on a meadow beside the Thames, with views of waterfowl and passing boats. Drinking water and a toilet disposal point are available, but recent reports describe the site as busy, with noise from boats and music. Access is through a locked farm gate, and you must call before arrival for the padlock code. The price reported was £18 per night for two adults and a dog.

Very friendly operator and a beautiful site. You stand on a meadow directly beside the Thames—a real little natural paradise. We felt very comfortable. To get the code for opening the gate, you should definitely call beforehand.
What a beautiful, peaceful site. Right on the banks of the Thames, you can stay here and watch the geese and swans swim by, along with the odd boat or two. Run by a lovely couple, we would definitely stay here again. Has a toilet disposal point and drinking water which was perfect for us. Highly recommend this site.
Beautiful place in the middle of nature. Many waterfowl and birds of prey (the kite). Emptying facilities and drinking water within walking distance. No other facilities. Very kind manager who is willing to help with everything. Note that the gate is normally closed; you can call or email for the code and to book. Arrival after 4 p.m., departure before 10 a.m.
At £18 per night for two adults and a dog it’s hard to beat in a location as unique as this. But it’s busy, very busy and if you’re looking for a quiet night in a tranquil spot I suggest you look elsewhere. Being by the river is lovely but adds to the noise, boats passing playing loud music and the constant squaking of Geese and Swans…Also let down by the lack of facilities, toilets at least !
Just spend a blissful weekend on the pop-up field, beautiful location with lovely walk to Henley, can't wait to visit again.
This place is a true gem in an idyllic setting next to the Thames. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Make sure you phone ahead to book as entrance is through 2 locked gates. Open May to September.
Such a beautiful, peaceful place. The owners accommodated us last minute and I ended up staying 3 nights because it’s such an amazing place. Very dog friendly, owners are amazing too. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet stay.
Great quiet spot! 3 or so mini beaches to launch boats/paddle boards. Steve and wife are very attentive and communication brilliant.
