Forest picnic area, muddy approach

Perfect spot after a day in Brasov. It is a quiet place with a sweeping view over the city. A few people early in the evening, as families come to walk their dogs, but very quiet at night. A shepherd passed by early in the morning.

Large area near the forest with a beautiful view of the city from the mountain. Some locals were there during the day, and young people also came by in the evening. Overall, it was fine for us and quiet enough for one night.

Very nice spot just outside the city. Some noise and coming and going, but not too disturbing. Good for one night.

Picnic spot for locals. Busy in the evenings and at night on warm days, especially at weekends. Loud music and barbecues. We took a break here; there was too much activity for sleeping.

Lovely little spot, the night was quiet. One or two walkers came by in the morning. A flock of sheep also moved right past us. Highly recommended.

Where the road turns into a gravel track.. Lovely spot with approx 15 huge picnic tables that literally could seat about 16 people, all with overhead roofs. They also each have a bbq, and you can park next to it. It’s great! Used frequently by locals which is really sweet. A group of large dogs frequent the area but despite being large in size, seem friendly and show no sign of aggression.

A great place for both a picnic and an overnight stay. Grassy area, lots of covered tables with benches and grill. It is possible to choose a place under the trees. The horses came to us in the morning. I recommend.

We slept without any problems. Excellent reception, and a beautiful view of Brasov! Plenty of places to eat and have barbecues!

We parked at the junction in the meadow below the entrance to this place. In the evening we wanted to drive directly here, but the police arrived and made two cars leave. We came here in the morning to the tables for breakfast. Both places are nice and pleasant.
