Small informal roadside stop in Lavertezzo along the Verzasca valley, beside a stream that can run dry in August. It's near the road, so expect some traffic noise, but one visitor found it quiet and peaceful. There's no other free overnight camping nearby except a paid campsite about 18 km upstream. One traveller strongly preferred the official designated spots, especially at Sonogno.

Keep going and sleep at the designated spots, which are very beautiful, especially in Sonogno.
Great place to stay for the night besides the classic Swiss honker.
Quiet and peaceful place. No other overnight camping anywhere else in the area except at the campsite 18 km upstream.
