A simple campsite at Motel Silvia, with access to a swimming pool, restaurant, hotel and campsite facilities. Showers, toilets and washing-up facilities are available, and guests may use the pool, but the sanitary facilities are basic. It lies directly beside the busy E70/DN6, so road noise can continue through the night, although the rear of the site is quieter. Prices include 5€ for a tent and 15€ for a camper.

Good place for one night on the busy E70/DN6. At the very back, the traffic noise is manageable. Pleasant pool and motel-style food. The owner speaks good German and is very open; his son, however, is very reserved. Sanitary facilities are typical for the country. We paid 75 RON for one night with electricity.
Very beautiful place, good food, and the German-speaking owner is very nice.
Passing through for one night. We were the only ones on the spacious and beautiful site. Toilets and shower were simple but perfectly fine. The German-speaking owner is very nice and gives good tips. The site is directly beside the national road, so one star deducted for the nighttime noise. We ate at the restaurant run by his grandson. Good and inexpensive. Card payment is not possible.
First the good: beautiful location and friendly German-speaking owner. Great pool. Unfortunately, two stars deducted because: 1. The road is quite noisy and audible all night. 2. Card payment is not possible, although this is stated at the entrance. Euros are accepted, but the exchange rate is very unfavorable. It is best to bring the local currency.
Beautiful place to spend the night and delicious food! €5 for a tent and €15 for a camper. Pizza around €6.
Far from five-star, but adequate for a stop to freshen up while on the road. We would not stay overnight, though. We parked the van outside the motel so we could freshen up, have a cold drink and swim, but one person had to stay with the dogs, so we took turns. Different men were walking around the van and looking suspicious, so after a quick dip and a drink we left.
Lovely spot; we were alone. Rustic but perfectly adequate toilets and shower. All facilities, including use of the pool. We had a meal delivered to the van from the pool restaurant. The pool bar does not allow dogs. We paid the equivalent of €25 for parking and a nice meal for two. Lovely family-run business.
Very nice operators, good food and a small campsite on a meadow! Everything you need is there. At first glance you might not stop here, but appearances are deceptive!
In March it is not easy to find open campsites in Romania. Motel and Camping Silvia deserves great praise in this respect: although officially still closed, they let us stay on request, including with our dog, and we could order good, hearty food. The host speaks fluent German and his grandson English—genuine hospitality!
Super-friendly welcome although the site was actually closed. We were allowed to stay, could have had electricity but did not need it, and were cooked a delicious meal! The food was brought to our motorhome because the dining room was also closed. What service! We drank wine and chatted pleasantly with the owner in the motorhome.
We wanted to stay here, but the boy at reception said the water was shut off. I said no problem, we just needed somewhere to park and could use the toilets in the motel. He spoke to his boss, but they told us we could not stay because the campsite was closed.
Very friendly welcome from the motel owner; the associated campsite belongs to his grandfather. The gate was opened for us and we could drive in. There are showers, toilets, a chemical-toilet dump, water and electricity, as well as two barbecue shelters. At the back of the site the road is less noisy, although the E70 is constantly used by trucks from all over Europe day and night. We had an excellent dinner in the motel restaurant and were served very kindly. The operator speaks English and some German. We paid the equivalent of €15 for the pitch including electricity.
Excellent little stop just off the road with water, electricity, shower and toilet, all for €15. You can even use the motel swimming pool and have a meal there. I can highly recommend this place.
This can only get five stars. Very nice German-speaking owner originally from Bohemia. We ate well and cheaply in the restaurant and had one or two schnapps with the owner. Yes, you can hear the road, but that should not matter for one or two nights. We can only recommend it. Everything you need is available. We had a lovely time.
Good for one night. 75 lei per night for one camper, two adults and two children.
The owner welcomed us very warmly and immediately suggested things to see nearby. Everything is fenced and you feel safe. Anyone who does not like the showers and toilet should go elsewhere and pay more. We liked it very much.
