This grassy spot beside the Somme or canal is peaceful, scenic and suitable for an overnight stop. The road is nearby, but traffic is light, and there are additional potential places to park along 1-2km. There are no services, and fishermen are often present in the morning. Mosquitoes can be numerous after sunset, while birds and frogs provide natural sounds.

We really love this place. The water is so beautiful, and it is lovely to sit on the grass. It is also quiet despite being beside the road, so we slept well. Only some mosquitoes when the sun goes down!
Super Nice area, with all the birds singing and swimming next to the car. It’s a lot of mosquitoes, so if you want to spend the evening outside the van, it’s not great.
We spent one night here with our 7 m motorhome. Quietly located right by the canal, great for dogs. At night, a car passes by from time to time, but it did not bother us. Great view in the morning.

stopped a bit east of the pin, but for the 1-2km east that I drove along there were lots of potential spots. didn't go any further than the pin westward. no services, lovely in nature, many fishermen in the morning but all seemed fairly friendly.
Very nice location for a stop on the road. Very quiet. In addition to the area with a few parking spaces, it is possible to park along the road for 2 km.
Quiet place, with a few fishermen at dawn, but they were very quiet. A very restorative and peaceful setting for an overnight stay.
