Riverside parking, no services

Excellent place to stay. I did not spend the night but stayed during the day, and the conditions are excellent. The area is quiet, there are lots of motorhomes, plenty of space for everyone, and the ground is flat and ideal. The beach and lagoon are right beside it. I loved it.

Quiet place to spend one night, surrounded by campers and motorhomes.

A magnificent place with many parking spaces. Close to shops and the beach, and ideal for those who enjoy fishing. A peaceful place; being free, it is very good. Thanks to the local council for providing this space.

Very large, paved area without infrastructure. The last place on the journey north where I could go with no weight restriction (7.5 tons), as far as Espinho. The adjoining village looks somewhat run-down but is okay and safe. There is plenty of activity by local fishermen along the river.

Magnificent site, opposite the river and right next to the beach. The spaces are relatively flat and the area is very safe. It would only need services to be perfect.

We spent 2 nights at this beautiful spot. Directly by the river, very quiet. Beautiful paths on the other side of the road for walking along the river. One star deducted because water and emptying facilities were once available but have been out of service for some time, and there are many ants on the pitches. Lidl is reachable directly via the cycle path in the neighboring town. The place is popular, but there are enough spaces, even for large motorhomes.

Very quite and easy stop - toilets a short walk away in the village and a lovely view of the river. while a few stops on this stretch of coast have been affected by the storms, this one seems fine!

Good place 50 meters from the beach. Magnificent sunset. No infrastructure, 100% free.

Spent 2 lovely nights here overlooking the river where we fished. Lots of space so you don’t need to be on top of your neighbour. Lovely and quiet. Had rubbish bins but that’s it. Toilets 5 mins walk away in the lovely little town. Some cheap cafes and mercados. There is a waterpark in the town which opens from 6th June. All in all a great park up if you have kids and dogs

Superb stopover for relaxing, going to the beach, and visiting the small village. Very quiet night. Thanks to the municipality.

The presumed motorhome site, with a completely neglected dual service station, is currently being avoided by campers. Instead, around 30 motorhomes were parked in the neighboring, rather poorly maintained parking lot. There is still a lot of damage in the village from the spring storm. The area is characterized by dunes with plenty of walking trails, so it is good for dog owners. Fine for one night.

Great place. Quiet. Storm damage is still being cleared, but it is nevertheless worth a visit. Restaurants are open. Ideal for cycling.

Excellent for spending a few quiet nights just a short distance from the sea and the Lis. The nights are quiet. The town center is not far on foot. It is a lovely little village worth visiting. No services, but that is not a problem—in fact, quite the opposite. Thank you.

Great place for free camping; everything is available within a few kilometers. What more could you want? However, this place is not for campers who want everything for free and still complain.

Nothing happening outside the season, but a great place to stay. There are gas stations and a supermarket nearby. It is also very interesting for anglers.

We spent a quiet night. The place was full. Beautiful view of the river and sea. Great walks.

Next to the beach. Many flat spaces. No services, but the location made the two nights we spent there worthwhile. We would return.

Large parking area. Next to a charming village with shops and restaurants. The beach is very beautiful. We used the service station at the campsite one minute away for €3. Recommended.

Nice place close to the beach, café, restaurant, and Pão da Paula bakery, which is very good. Emptying facilities are available at the campsite for €3.

I give it 5 stars because it is a huge, flat open area with capacity for many motorhomes, beside the Lis River and 5 minutes from the beautiful Vieira beach. It is a 5-minute walk from the campsite, where you can use the services for €3. The only downside is, as always, us. Some people arrive late, start engines, open and close doors… while everyone else is already sleeping.

I give it 4 stars because it has no services, but I loved the parking area. It is huge, next to the beach, village, and beach bar. A few minutes' walk from the water park. If you like pizza, I recommend Costa Verde. Follow me on Instagram.

Good place to spend the night, safe. No services.

Very good place to spend the day with a bicycle or the night. However, do not put out your table, because we were told that the police sometimes come and issue fines for it!

For anyone who likes sleeping among motorhomes, this is the place. No services, but it is in a very beautiful area.

Nice place to stay. Very large and flat. No services apart from rubbish and glass recycling bins. We enjoyed a good meal and there is a beautiful beach for walking or sunbathing. The village also has a lovely swimming pool with slides.

Very good parking area, but no services. If you want paid services for €3, go to the campsite right next door for emptying and filling with water.
