Pool parking, low branches

Attention, not suitable for large motorhomes. You drive through a housing development where vehicles cannot pass each other, with a winding route. Otherwise, perfect at the edge of the woods, at the end of the road. Very quiet night, secure with a nursing home next door and a swimming pool.

Had a great first overnight stay. It took a while to find the entrance, though. But the second time we found it. Keep to the right; the left side is private property.

At the moment, branches at the entrance to the parking area hang down to almost 2 meters. A car can get underneath, but a camper will be scratched by the branches.

From the main road, turn into Von-Wartenberg-Straße and continue until you cannot go any farther, then turn left and drive straight into the small forest. The rehabilitation clinic is on the left. We spent a quiet night and explored the town on foot the next day. Clinic employees were also parked there.

A somewhat dark spot in the forest, close to the outdoor pool, which will hopefully reopen next season. We could not find the spot and continued to Offenes Holz. Large parking area, drive a little farther past the “no parking” sign. Pretty good.

Nice parking area with lots of shade. It is unpaved, though, and may become muddy with more rain. During the week, some people park here to work, but we were not bothered. From here you can enter the forest for walks, and the town is only a 5-minute walk away. The outdoor pool is around the corner, although it is questionable whether it is open or will remain open.

Alright place to catch a night sleep. Quite uneven though. Some sharp light coming from the apartments close by but nothing too bad. Quiet and safe parking spot in general

We can also highly recommend the outdoor pool next door. It has long lanes, very helpful staff, and of course showers and toilets ;)
