An official motorhome parking area on a large gravel festival site beside the Wisser, below several discount stores. It is free and can provide a quiet night, but cars also use the motorhome section and nearby works may affect the surroundings. Access is currently restricted for vehicles higher than 3,00 m. There are no services, and the site may close for events or host paragliding activity.

We spent a quiet night here. The motorhome area is signposted on the left and is unfortunately also used by cars. Currently, the adjacent area is being used as a storage site for the fiber-optic construction. The village has charm and is a good starting point for beautiful hikes.
Recently no longer accessible to vehicles over 3.00 m high.
With wind from the north to northeast, the festival grounds are the landing area for paragliders. Flight activity can be expected from late morning onward. Please always keep a wide lane free lengthwise along the site; do not park in the middle. The weather station can be accessed via the Delta Club Rheinland operator’s website. It would be nice to include a link in the site description.
When I arrived, trucks were blocking access to the water. So I continued straight on. Otherwise, it is a simple and pleasant place. Certainly good for one night.
We spent a quiet night here over the weekend. Perfect for one night, as it is an official and free motorhome pitch. It appears that the entire area may be used as a pitch. There is a playground and fitness equipment in the adjacent spa park.
