Glacier parking, quiet nights

Beautiful and quiet parking area. We spent one night here. Only two camper vans were there overnight, but the car park filled up quickly in the morning. We felt safe here. There is a restaurant a short distance below the parking area.✦Translating

Amazing place. So quiet - I don’t think one single car came past from the time we got there at 8pm until 8am the next morning. Great views of the mountains and really peaceful. Toilets and bins nearby

Perfect place to stay overnight, quiet and spacious without restrictions

Great place, absolutely quiet in the night, just waterfall was heard, we stayed two nights without any issues. In summer only 2 caravans.

Large parking area for the Mölltaler Express, next to a large waterfall. Quiet in the evening; from 8 or 9 a.m. the parking area fills up with skiers. Definitely perfect and peaceful for one night. There is a toilet and coffee machine in the building when the lift is open.✦Translating

The parking area is partly asphalt and partly gravel. I recommend parking toward the end of the gravel section to cause less disturbance. No problems except for some typical cheerful Austrians who kept driving up and down the road honking their horns....✦Translating

Large parking area surrounded by mountains and a waterfall, not a sound. Only six vehicles in a parking area for more than 200 cars. We had a very good night.✦Translating

Beautiful, quiet place. During the day, you can use the cable-car station’s toilet. Please, dear van lifers: use this facility or buy a portable toilet. Unfortunately, we saw four van lifers using the bushes around this beautiful place as a toilet. You are disgusting! Because of such inconsiderate behavior, beautiful spots like this may be closed to overnight stays.✦Translating

We spent one night here and were very impressed. Because of the rain, the mountain station was closed, so we had absolute peace and quiet—hardly anyone around, no tourists, no road noise… Only in the morning were we woken by mowing, but that was completely acceptable after such a restful night! :)✦Translating

We stayed one night here, very quiet, only one camper was here with us. Weather gets a little bit cold so prepare for that. Busy in the morning, many people went skiing. Waterfall nearby the parking lot was the only noise you could hear.

Staid for 2 nights in November, big parking place,some other campers there. We stoped on gravel, but there was smaller concrete parking lot full of campers right next to the lift.

Beautiful quiet night with gentle weather conditions. We were the only ones down on the gravel/grassed/snow/ice area. Phone service is patchy but does work a little.
