Quiet riverside site, limited water hours

Great spot for cycling in to Cochem. Gravel pitches and our side of the site had no electricity but for €14 we couldn’t complain! Friendly welcome with a wee free sample of delicious wine and next door to a lovely restaurant and bakery. Ideal for one night!

The place is pretty buisy, it cost 17 euro with electricity included. The personel is verry kind, you can taste and buy wine at the shop. next to the camp there is a very nice bike path to the city Cochem, around 5km. You can park your bike at the river and then go to the castle by foot.

We booked electricity at the meter and later wondered when it stopped working. After a brief friendly phone call, we learned that the electricity post on the other side had to be topped up. The electricity fee was refunded on Monday. Water is currently available only during the wine shop's opening hours, so not on Sundays. No shade, no Wi-Fi. €14 is just about acceptable. The wines are good and reasonably priced.✦Translating

At €14, it is too expensive. Then there was the misunderstanding about the electricity: a flat rate of €3 on the large circular area and €0.80/kWh on the other area. People walked back and forth trying to feed cash into the meter. On the positive side, the wine is tasty and the food in the adjacent ham shop was also excellent.✦Translating

We stayed here for two nights with our dogs. Nice parking area with electricity and disposal facilities. However, electricity and water cost extra. No showers or toilets.✦Translating

Motorhome site in Ernst on the Moselle, ideal for one or two days. Unfortunately, no toilet or shower. Friendly check-in at the wine shop. The site is somewhat uneven in places, so larger leveling blocks are recommended.✦Translating

Quite okay for one night. Pitches are close together. Shopping options nearby include Edeka, a bakery, and a restaurant. Cochem is 5 km away and easy to reach by bike. The village is very nice.✦Translating

Nice parking area. The circular pitches are slightly sloped and cost €15 including electricity. Across the way, it is €12 plus electricity. The price is valid until noon the following day. Bike path right outside. Cochem is worth seeing but touristy. Edeka, two bakeries, pizza, and a restaurant are within walking distance. Bread rolls are also available on Sundays. Service and disposal facilities and garbage containers are available. Wine can be purchased in the village. The ticket can be obtained from the machine at the entrance to the wine shop.✦Translating

A lovely place for cycling to Cochem and the surrounding area or hiking through the vineyards. Very nice for €12. Shops and a restaurant are just around the corner.✦Translating

We got a large, beautiful corner pitch facing the vineyards. Clean and reasonably quiet. Lovely village and surroundings. Friendly neighbors!✦Translating

A very nice parking area for anyone who does not need showers or toilets. €12 per night without electricity in the rectangular area, and €15 per night including electricity. The rectangular area is level. A butcher with a hot counter offers a delicious €8.90 lunch to take away or eat on site. A bakery with an excellent selection is also right there, opposite the butcher. You pay for your pitch at the wine shop.✦Translating

Okay for one night and for cycling to Cochem or along the Moselle cycle path. The front pitches are indeed not as sloped as those in the circular area, but the traffic noise is quite noticeable, and by 7 am the peace and quiet is over. The circular area is somewhat sloped but probably much quieter.✦Translating

Super motorhome site. Very friendly welcome; everything you need to know was explained. Electricity costs extra for some pitches. We stayed for two days, put in €3, and still had credit left on the last day. The pizzeria in the village is highly recommended. At this time before Christmas, many houses are illuminated, and the church looks particularly beautiful. We will return.✦Translating

Very beautiful place near Cochem, 6 km away. Walking among the vineyards on the hills and through the old villages. Very friendly welcome with wine tasting and terrace. Close to an Edeka and bakery! Some parking spaces are level, while others are quite sloped. However, there are no showers or sanitary facilities. We spent peaceful nights here.✦Translating

Very pleasant reception. Very spacious pitch, though not always suitable for a spirit level. But it has everything a self-sufficient camper needs. We would be happy to return.✦Translating

Good place and very friendly welcome. No problem with a large motorhome; the pitches are somewhat sloped, so leveling blocks or jacks are useful. Clean disposal station. The wine tasting was great, and shopping at the nearby Edeka is convenient.

Top tip! If the front is too noisy, stay in the circular area. Leveling blocks are needed, but we spent two extremely quiet nights here. Anyone who has other complaints should use a campsite. Wanting to park as cheaply as possible and then grumbling does not go together!

We stayed here with electricity; a nice motorhome site for €15. In the evening, there was a wine festival across the Moselle with a 20-piece big band—it was fantastic. Good location, we would gladly return.

Excellent for a stopover, with good loading and unloading facilities and the adjacent wine shop area. The owners are very kind and even gave us a small bottle of wine.

Good motorhome site by the vineyards. Very pleasant welcome at reception, including a wine tasting. Good facilities for emptying the toilet cassette and gray water. Fresh water costs €0.10 for 10 liters or €1 for 100 liters. You can connect a hose to the outlet. Make sure you have coins!

Site in a beautiful location. It is a motorhome parking area, so there are often no sanitary facilities. You have everything on board anyway. The winery offers a huge selection of wines. Right opposite are a great butcher, a restaurant, and a bakery—you practically fall into them. The gravel site (€12; we supplied our own electricity) made an excellent impression on us.

Came for 2 nights stayed for 5, such a well run and organised Aire style park up . We stayed in the rectangular area for 12€ and didn’t need ehu. Very busy each night but people leave every day so space is always available unless you arrive late. We cycled to all 4 towns, all lovely but Cochem is expensive and touristy but worth a visit. The service stations are very clean. Good water pressure.

Great aire and friendly hosts. I was given a bottle of wine on check-in. Excellent cycle paths to Cochem and Beilstein, each about 4 km away in opposite directions. There is also a great bus service if you do not want to walk or cycle. €12, or €15 with electricity. You can also use the service facilities for a donation in the honesty box—€2. Very quiet and relaxing aire. I did not want to leave this beautiful area.

We did not spend the night here, but we were able to use the service and disposal facilities for €2. It is also easily accessible for large motorhomes.

It is a shame that you are not allowed to keep your trailer at your pitch, even though there is space in some places. You have to unhitch it and leave it at the front of the building, out of sight.

Nice place to spend the night on the Moselle, but noisy because of the busy road. We bought delicious wine from the friendly lady from the winery. It is very busy and full.

Beautiful motorhome site. Perfect for hikes in the surrounding area. Electricity costs extra. Water is included. We arrived late and there was still a free pitch; after consulting the operator, we were allowed to park on the meadow next door.

Beautiful place, fair price, but the quiet of the night is over from 7 am.
