Quiet lagoon, common mosquitoes

Peace and serenity!!! Alone in a motorhome over a Pentecost weekend, with a little shade as well. Walks and birdwatching.✦Translating

Very peaceful place with zero light pollution. We spent one night and honestly heard nothing except some frogs and an occasional duck. During the day, the people passing through were very friendly. At the barbecue area there is a tap where you can fill fresh water. The grey- and black-water dumping point seemed unavailable, so we went to empty at Cella!✦Translating

This was such a peaceful space to sleep. It was flat enough and felt safe. Many bird watchers and walkers around but no one seemed bothered by us.

A little paradise on earth between sky and water, green pastures and mountains in the background. An ideal nature spot for spending the night or even one or two days. Easy access on foot around the lagoon. Village 2 km away. I would have given it 5/5 if there had been a few amenities (bin, toilet, water point), but I am being fussy!✦Translating

Very beautiful place. But in high season, choose the parking area just before it; there is not a lot of space here, and the spaces are not very level.✦Translating

Peaceful place right beside the lagoon, with no light pollution, where you can see the starry sky. Nearby there is also a motorhome area with grey-water emptying. In winter there are no mosquitoes; you can see horses and donkeys grazing nearby. You can hear birdsong and various animals at dawn. The visitor centre has a hiking route.✦Translating

We arrived at night and there was nobody there—far too isolated and remote, with no lights. The water at the fountain was turned off. The van’s lights revealed a swarm of mosquitoes, so we quickly left.✦Translating

Two jokers from the neighbouring village come by at 1 a.m. to bother people: a motorcycle and a car. Please, if we could all identify the licence plate so we could report them, that would be a great achievement. This is the second time something like this has happened to me while sleeping in nature. These people need the authorities to tell them to stop bothering peaceful campers. What a shame!✦Translating

We spent the night here; the place is ideal for that. A few mosquitoes, but no problem inside the van. The approach road made us uneasy, but as soon as we arrived we saw two other vans and felt much better. The Guardia Civil came just as we were making the bed and did not say anything at all.✦Translating
