A secluded nature area with a short hiking trail and covered barbecue huts. The lake trail has walkways marked with red paint, and blueberries grow nearby. The final 2 kilometers of the approach are relatively narrow.

Despite the rain, the site was very easy to reach, and thanks to the barbecue hut we could eat and sit under cover. The place was very secluded, and apart from two walkers nobody came by. Be careful on the approach: the last 2 kilometres are already quite narrow, and the road is currently badly eroded due to the rain.
Completely out of the way - so very quiet and peaceful. The lake is beautiful and the trail around it has walkways and is marked with red paint. The BBQ pits are in wooden huts providing cover. There’s a big “camp” halfway round if you want a night out of the van (I didn’t!!)
Nice place with lots of blueberries and a grill near the parking spot.
