This free, sloping parking area is very close to the lake and offers excellent views over the famous road. Overnight stays are possible, but there are no facilities and the road is nearby. It is busy with stopping cars during the day, while nights are generally quiet apart from occasional racing BMWs early in the evening.

We spent one night here. It is somewhat sloped and busy during the day. Many cars stop to take photos. But at night it is fairly quiet and you can sleep well. You can see a wonderful sunset here.Translating
