Stabilized parking below the road to the pass, beside a torrent whose sound masks the nearby road. It is quiet, cool and shady in summer, with a small beach and a path to the river. The natural ground is not completely level, although a level place can be found. A further barbecue area is referenced nearby, but camping there is forbidden.

There is a tractor, a container, and tools for sawing wood, but it is Friday afternoon, so we do not expect any workers. There is a path to the river. The river drowns out the road noise. Sun until late in the evening. We had a peaceful evening and night.
Ideal place for lunch and dinner.
Perfect for one night: quiet, and especially the shade and coolness from the stream are greatly appreciated in summer!

Ideal for one night with the gentle sound of the stream. The valley runs east–west, so there is sun late and early. Also, not too many flies, unlike the spots higher up toward the Izoard that drove us away.
Beautiful gravel parking close to the road and next to a small river. Silent at night. The ground is natural so not 100% level but we managed to find 1 level spot!
Very idyllic spot far from the road beside a rushing mountain river. The site itself is very large, but we were alone there apart from two motorcyclists who camped here. The river is clearly audible, which certainly did not bother us—in fact, quite the opposite! The site is natural, so it is not completely level, but we found a pitch where we did not need leveling blocks.
