152 Šmartinska cesta, 1000, Ljubljana
Been here?
This is a free shopping-area parking lot with cinemas, a gym, shops and IKEA, about 30min from central Ljubljana by bicycle on a greenway. It has bins, benches, lighting, toilets in nearby shops, and an electrical outlet upstairs in the shopping area. Bus 27 reaches the centre for €1.30 one way, and overnight stays are generally safe, though it becomes noisy and crowded after 7:30-8:00 and is best avoided on summer Friday and Saturday nights. Vehicles up to 7m have parked here, but the spaces are designed for cars.

Thirty minutes from the center by a regular single-speed bicycle, via the greenway. Bins, bench, illuminated spot. Toilets in the Decathlon, McDonald's, and Spar stores in the commercial area. Electrical outlet upstairs in the commercial area. Parking feels safe; I slept several nights in a row. Avoid Friday and Saturday evenings in summer. Above the cinema, Lounge Luna hosts parties until 3 a.m. No spaces during the day; arrive after 9:30 p.m.Translating
Good free parking area, ten minutes from the center by car. A few locals hang around, but overall it feels safe.Translating
The place is excellent for spending the night, but after 7:30–8:00 a.m. the workers go to work and it becomes quite noisy. The parking area fills up very quickly in the morning and there is almost no space. In the evening after 9 p.m. it is very quiet and peaceful.Translating
Great place to park. Near bus route 27, which goes into the center and costs €1.30 each way. Quiet night.Translating
Perfect for free parking and access to the nearby shops. With our 7 m vehicle we were able to park, but nothing larger; the spaces are designed for cars.Translating
Unfortunately, the IKEA parking area was closed, so we stayed by the shopping center right next to Sinsay. Quiet and peaceful. In the evening, residents stood nearby by their cars and talked. In any case, it felt safe and quiet.Translating
If you have a motorhome >6m you can always park at the huge IKEA parking during the day (till 9pm). After 5pm sufficient parking space nearly everywhere. Most parking lots close with barriers at night, but there's enough space available to spend the night. Bus 27 has several stops at the shopping center and takes you in 25min to he old town.
If you want to spend the night and shop the next day, I recommend arriving when the stores close. The parking spaces fill up very early. We managed to park opposite Primark.Translating
Completely overcrowded during the day.Translating
Arrived at 4–5 p.m. the day before, stayed one night, and left at 11 a.m. the next day. Very busy with local shops, with plenty of regular and double parking spaces for campers over 5 m. If you do not mind a little noise, it is not too bad; we were not disturbed. Plenty of shops in the shopping center.Translating
