A small, free gravel parking area with a maximum stay of 4h, suitable for a daytime city visit. Campers up to 6m fit well and there is no height restriction; one 7 metre motorhome used an end space with a warden’s confirmation. Overnight parking is prohibited, and a pedestrian and cycle bridge is beside the car park.

Free for four hours; worthwhile for a day trip into the city. Campers up to 6 m fit well, with no height restriction.
As said, quite a small gravel car park, but we were able to use an end place at the far end which was fine for our 7 metre motorhome. There was actually a warden there checking vehicles and she confirmed that it was fine for us to park there.
Perfect for visiting the city, with a pedestrian and bicycle bridge right beside the parking area! Limited to four hours and overnight parking prohibited, as local residents reminded us.
