Vineyard belvedere, narrow road

The parking area just before the barrier (80 m higher than indicated) is a little flatter! Superb view, no noise, and you can spend the night peacefully :-)

Visited at the beginning of May 2026. We drove up with a long campervan, which was just manageable. There was only one other van during that period. Wonderful quiet place with great views all around.

The view is fantastic and it is really nice. However, it is sloping and there are a lot of people. So it is good for visiting or perhaps one night to rest, but no more. Late in the evening, cars come to race around. No rubbish bins. The road to get there is very narrow.

Quiet spot with a beautiful view and lovely walks nearby. Room for 3 or 4 vans/campervans.

Quiet place, walks nearby. Truly a place to sleep where nighttime peace reigns. Pleasant during the day for walking or discovering a chapel, vineyards, and a truly magnificent panorama.

Superb, relatively flat and quiet place. We were alone at night. One or two cars on Saturday evening. Wonderful views, with a summit only a few minutes' walk away. Ideal place to watch the sunset and sunrise. Watch out for hunters on Sunday morning.

Difficult night. Lots of people until 12:15 a.m., young people drinking and shouting. Sloping ground. Splendid view! A picnic table is available.

A few picnickers for the sunset, then alone in the world with a magnificent panorama!

Great place; arrived on July 14 around 5 p.m. and was alone in the world... an hour later, more than 40 cars. This allowed us to enjoy a magnificent fireworks display at the top of the Belvedere. Several hikes to do around here... I recommend it; the climb is not easy but manageable.

Quiet, sheltered place. You are usually not alone for long; other campers or hikers keep appearing. A peaceful night's sleep was possible!

Small road to access it, but we did not encounter anyone, probably because it was off-season. A few cars in the evening and morning, but a very quiet night; we were alone. Super beautiful view, worth remembering.

Great for a quiet night with wonderful surroundings! We were here with a 7.5 m motorhome. However, the approach from Crozes-Hermitage is not recommended; the route from Tain-l'Hermitage is better.
