Reservoir views, poor approach

A wild overnight spot beside the Palma d'Ebre reservoir, with superb views and generally very calm surroundings. The wc is closed, and there is no water. The shorter dirt-road access from the village is currently closed; the alternative route is longer and in poor condition. The approach includes a narrow road for 700 m, and the final climb can be difficult for vans.

Superb view, excellent spot, very quiet, with a few people passing on foot. ATTENTION: the approach to the spot is really difficult. We had to spin the wheels of our Trafic-type van several times before managing to climb the hill. Gravel and stones on the ground are not good for the bodywork or tires!
fine quiet spot. bassin is gated which makes it a little less beautiful. the short dirt road from the village is closed for now. we went with a fiat ducato and the longer dirt road was fine, however the dirt road is not in the best condition
Great spot, very quiet and beautiful during the day. In the morning, some guy from the city municipality came by to check the area, but he just gave me a friendly wave and left. Also google maps brings you by the wrong road, its ok for 4x4, but I would suggest to use another route if you have a camper.
Perfect, very clean, alone in the world, and no mosquitoes. No light pollution and a very starry sky.
A 5 km gravel road that is worth it—or take the shorter route directly from Palma d'Ebre ;) This spot definitely has the best view, but there are also more hidden places along the road around the lake. Just go and have a look.
Attention, this spot is orgasmic. In February, there were other more discreet places, closer to the lake and more sheltered from the wind. You just have to go around the lake to find them; I no longer have the GPS point.
