Free parking, low height limit

We spent one night there. It was not very quiet. Freight trains run all night, and some are very loud. Still, it is nice that free places like this still exist. We saw no height restrictions at the entrance. It is also usable by larger motorhomes.✦Translating

A cute little playground is right next door, and there is a small meadow for dogs. A visit to Linn Castle, reachable on foot in about 10 minutes, is highly recommended. Admission is free for under-18s; adults pay €8 for the castle museum and hunting lodge. Height restriction up to 3.20 m; more suitable for short motorhomes up to 6 m. Almost continuous road noise. Overall clean, with four small bins.✦Translating

Excellent site for the night. Background noise soon fades and there were no problems with cars. Didn’t explore but there is a trattoria nearby and not much else. Rubbish bins are the only facility available.

Our 2nd time here. Trams are back up & running & they can be quite noisy, along with the trains. Suggest earplugs. Disappointed to see cars coming in to squeeze in & park up alongside motorhomes, supposed to be MH parking only. Car drivers are quick to moan if we take their spaces. Anyway, good place to stop whilst visiting brother-in-law who lives here. Thanks for supplying this free facility.

Free parking for up to eight medium-sized motorhomes, somewhat noisy because of the tram, but otherwise undisturbed. Easy tram ride to and from the city and to a concert at the Kufa. No disposal or water facilities, only bins.✦Translating

Watch out: when leaving, I noticed cockroaches sitting in every gap and crevice of my leveling ramps. Perhaps because the rubbish bins there were constantly full, or something. I have been traveling for three years and have never experienced anything like it. Traffic quietened down at night and I slept very well. You definitely would not want to sleep here. Far too noisy. The trams run regularly and squeal as they brake at this spot. There is currently also construction at the bridge, so it is extremely noisy. But it is a great place to park for a few hours to visit, for example, the castle and the park.✦Translating

One of the few free places you will find in the area. There are few spaces, so if it becomes popular it will fill up easily. If parked well, two campers can fit in each gap, though probably only one motorhome. There is freight-train noise during the night too, but it is bearable. We stayed here for one night. At the moment, a bridge is being replaced at the intersection and work continues all night. It was noisy. Otherwise, the site does what it should. You can also dispose of rubbish. The bays are suitable for large vehicles. You park under trees, with no satellite reception and currently quite a lot of debris from the trees.
