Chemin de la Glashutte, 68500, Rimbach-prés-Guebwiller
Been here?
A forest parking area with a picnic table and hiking routes starting nearby. It is generally quiet and clean, but recent access reports describe a very narrow road. There is no view and no mobile network, and the area can become busy with walkers and parked vehicles. It is suitable for a night, but not for seeking solitude.

If you want to be alone, avoid it because it is a sort of parking area with quite a lot of spaces. Otherwise, not a bad place—not paradise, but it does the job for one night at most, because there is no view and absolutely no signal. Starting point for hikes, so if that is your goal, you will be in exactly the right place.
Very quiet. Clean. Be careful, there is no signal at all.
Very good spot and starting point for beautiful hikes. Very little traffic. The only drawback is that the access road is very narrow.
Narrow, winding access road, but good road surface. Beautifully quiet in October!
Completely packed, with many hikers and no space left. Unfortunately, I had to reverse back down the road.
Superb, peaceful spot, awakened by little birds.
Nice place but LOTS of ticks. Within 10 minutes our dog had 3 ticks crawling on him. We didn't stay.
Quite easy access despite a forest track. Very quiet; we were alone. Limited visibility because of the forest.
