This is a flat lawn in front of the Mountain Refuge of Foce, with a bar and numerous fountains in the village. Vans may sleep in the refuge parking area, but motorhomes are prohibited; the refuge has also allowed battery charging. It is a starting point for the Pilato lakes, 3-4h away, and equipped cliffs, 30 min away.

It is possible to sleep in a van in the refuge parking area; motorhomes are prohibited. The people at the refuge gave us a warm welcome and allowed us to recharge our auxiliary battery—many thanks to them! The refuge restaurant is really nice, with local products, and there is direct access to the hike leading to Lake Pilato, unfortunately dry at the beginning of August.
Nice spot for a quick break! Clean and very green. We moved on but it looked nice for camping and sleeping.
Nice free parking with beautiful view on the valley and mountains! perfect if you want to hike to the Lago di Pilato. On weekends I suggest arriving very early or late because the grass parking it's used by hikers/guest of the Taverna. I also suggest tasting the local food at the Taverna della Montagna in front of the parking!
Large and free parking area. Excellent drinking water. No dumping facilities. Bar and tavern, free Wi-Fi. No mobile signal. Very windy. A wonderful place for mountain walks.
