Been here?
This is a shady daytime parking area and starting point for hikes or bike tours. It is beside the water and generally quiet, although walkers, cyclists, anglers, and occasional traffic use the area. Overnight stays are explicitly prohibited.

Nice and quiet, but unfortunately there is also a no-parking sign here!Translating

No longer permitted! And that is because you publish all these beautiful spots here. Just keep them to yourselves and find your own places!Translating
Overnight stays have recently been prohibited here! See the photo. Therefore, it is now suitable only during the day. A shame—one fewer place, but apparently this one was also overused.Translating
Very beautiful location by the Tiroler Ache. Lots of cyclists and gravel-works trucks during the day, but quiet at night. Many athletes and dog walkers during the day. Recommended, but please take your rubbish and waste with you. Otherwise, places like this will soon disappear.Translating
We stayed here for one night. Very beautiful, right by the water. Plenty of parking spaces. We were here with two other campers, and there were also four cars. There were fishermen by the water too. A few cars drove past in the morning; otherwise, it was very quiet. Beautiful forest paths for walking.Translating

We stayed one night with about ten other campers. The place is recommended, but the anglers also want peace and quiet. Many people were out with their dogs in the morning. Everything was calm and quiet.Translating
Beautiful place by a small pond, right beside a road that is not very busy. There are cycle paths and two campsites nearby. Quiet, clean place—we recommend it.Translating
A nice place but it may be closed for vans soon. The reason are those big vans (>5m) who refuse the cheap and nice van sites nearby. The worst thing is that they park horizontally taking 3..4 lots. When the local people arrive in the morning for a walk or fishing they hardly find space. Shame on those who destroy a good campsite. If you meet one of this kind tell them friendly to leave.
Fine for one night if the vehicle is no longer than 6 meters. Maximum two or three vehicles, otherwise it becomes too cramped. There is a motorhome site in Übersee with normal prices.Translating
One of the few places in the area where you can stay free overnight. We had a very peaceful, pleasant night here. There are also beautiful walking trails from here.Translating
I came only for breakfast and to sit peacefully and quietly. It is true that mainly fishermen and people walking their dogs come here. One motorhome was parked lengthwise, even though it would normally fit perpendicular, but in October it was not very busy, so hopefully it did not bother anyone too much.Translating
Quiet and peaceful place. We spent one night here and slept very well. There was another van overnight, and fishermen arrived in the morning. There are three small nearby parking areas, each for about three or four cars, depending on how people park. At night it is very humid because the river is right beside the site, and it was therefore quite cold.Translating
Great spot to stay outside main camping areas. We parked for one night with about 4 other campers. We cycled to the lake which was very easy along designated cycle paths. Use the space well and don’t hog the whole pitch.
Almau by the Tiroler Ache. Great, quiet place, not suitable for large motorhomes—there is an official site nearby—and please park properly, not across the spaces! The anglers and walkers will appreciate it. There is a breakfast bench, hiking trails, and the signposted Gasthaus Ott, highly recommended; it is a 45-minute walk through forest and marsh, although we cycled. Just under 3 km to Übersee.Translating
These are parking spaces mainly used by anglers. People react aggressively to motorhomes. From van size onward, you have to park across the spaces, blocking three or four car spaces. There are two large motorhome sites in the village. I will not provoke people’s anger just to park somewhere that is not yet explicitly prohibited.Translating
We are back! Found this spot exactly 1 year ago on a trip back from Croatia. Same again today. Perfect spot for 1 night for smaller vans. (6.40 max) Still good for hiking and walking dogs in the morning by the river - just follow the road around the corner. Beautiful pictures to be taken with the German alps in the background . We were here alone tue-Wednesday. Mac D next to the highway;-)
We were here at the beginning of June. Since there is water all around, mosquitoes are a plague all day, not just in the evening. At 5 a.m. anglers arrived and talked loudly, so our night was effectively over. In the morning, a woman also warned us that the police patrol here.Translating
Quietly located place by a river, although the river is very audible. Perfect for anyone who is not bothered by that. We spent one night here with four other campers.Translating
Quiet, with only birdsong and the bubbling of the small stream beside it. No no-parking signs. From Saturday to Sunday there were three other motorhomes staying overnight. From 8 a.m., walkers arrive by car, so it is no longer completely quiet. Perfect for one night, especially since overnight stays are prohibited everywhere else in the area.Translating
