Naturhotel Basislager Fichtelberg

Beautiful, quiet motorhome site at the foot of the Fichtelberg. New sanitary facilities and service area. Gray water cannot be emptied by driving over the drain. The spaces are now divided and vary in size. The spaces were being prepared while we were there. Leveling ramps are needed on most spaces. We had a lovely time here.

Motorhome site, not camping as described. Still beautiful and clean. Somewhat expensive for a motorhome site: €72 for two nights and two adults. €25 for the space, €7 for electricity, and €3 tourist tax. Quiet, with plenty of space during the week.

Great concept: you can spend quiet nights here, eat very well, and easily chat with other people. Electricity, water, and very clean toilets and showers are available. The restaurant is worth visiting, and breakfast can be booked. The sauna can also be used. Hiking trails start right on site. Definitely worth stopping!

We stayed here for two nights and highly recommend the motorhome site. It has everything you need: clean showers and toilets, and the hotel's sauna can be used for an additional fee. The food in the restaurant is incredibly delicious, and the staff are wonderfully warm and friendly!

Great motorhome site for several nights. From the site and its surroundings, with numerous recreational opportunities, to the friendly and attentive staff and the incredibly tasty restaurant, it was a truly pleasant and relaxing stay. The sauna at €15 per person is also well worth it :) The hotel was built in an incredibly stylish way! Thank you—we will definitely return!

We stayed at a motorhome site last weekend. We can recommend it: there is a bread-roll service, clean showers and toilets, washing facilities, and electricity, although we did not need it. Fresh water, cassette disposal, and rubbish disposal are included. Friendly staff. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking and, of course, winter sports...

Great site; the sauna can be used for an additional fee (€15 per person), and the restaurant is also recommended. BUT €10 for electricity is rather… well, we were a little disappointed.

A great motorhome site. The operators are incredibly friendly and make everything possible. There is also a bread-roll service. The site is an excellent starting point for downhill and cross-country skiing. We will be back—keep it up.

Everything was lovely! We stayed there over Christmas, in the middle of the forest. Great for walking the dogs, and in snowy weather certainly a good starting point for skiing in the small resort. Be careful: some spaces are quite sloped and cannot be leveled with simple ramps. The extremely friendly staff deserve special mention! We will definitely, hopefully, return.

Fantastic motorhome site in complete peace at the edge of the forest; service facilities are included. Very pleasant showers with short distances, and the sauna is superb and beautifully designed. The restaurant serves freshly cooked, delicious food at reasonable prices. The whole team is very nice. When there is snow, the lift is only 100 m away. Bike trail, climbing wall, hiking trails, and cross-country ski track. Everything is here :-)

We spent two days in one of the seven powered camper spaces. Standard electrical outlet; an adapter is necessary. Everything was very straightforward. Lovely natural-wood hotel, with an indoor dining room and toilets. Separate building with toilets and showers. Everything impeccably clean and highly recommended. It has potential for longer stays. Morning bread orders are possible. Price per night: €25 + €5 electricity and tourist tax of €3.20 per adult.

The service area is under construction. Even now, black water can be emptied through a pipe in the ground, and gray water using a hose or bucket over a drain. A fresh-water tap is also available.

Great place behind the hotel for bikers and hikers. Good, clean toilets and showers. Water filling, electricity, and chemical-toilet emptying are possible. The price is €25 for the space + €3 tax + €5 electricity per day.
