47-41 Grand Rue, 68770, Ammerschwihr
Been here?
A small shaded car park at the village exit, useful for visiting the village and surrounding vineyards. There are no signs prohibiting overnight parking, and one-night stays have been reported, but the area is often occupied by local cars. It is not well suited to larger motorhomes, and traffic can be noticeable in the evening and from about 5:30 in the morning.

A beautiful, quiet car park. No signs prohibiting overnight parking. We stayed for one night and woke up to a stunning vineyard village. Free parking.
Parking unsuitable for a motorhome. Very small and occupied by many cars. We parked 200 metres farther away at the sports hall.
We spent the night here on Wednesday the 3rd. There were 2 other vans; perhaps the parking area is only suitable for long motorhomes. Local residents also use it. In the evening there is quite a lot of car traffic on the road, so it is not quiet, and early in the morning, around 5:30, traffic starts again. Since it is grape-harvesting season, quite a few tractors pass by. A village visit is recommended.
But we love it. Indeed, it is small and not suitable for motorhomes, although depending on the space it may be possible. But for panel vans and vans, it is perfect. Under the trees in front of the entrance to the beautiful village. We were lucky to get the spot directly opposite and were able to set up our table and chairs on the grass.
Delete this. Tiny. Not suitable for motorhomes. No privacy. We did not stay.
We had to wait a little until a space became available, as it was full of cars, but it worked well for spending the night here. It is not ideal because it is very noisy and there is not much privacy. All in all, okay.
This parking lot is not marked as a motorhome parking area—or we really did not see the sign—and it is full of cars. It is also not level and frankly not very suitable for motorhomes because it is small. Too bad, we need to look elsewhere.
stayed here as a quick stop over having just crossed the boarder of Switzerland and was feeling tired, arrived about 12:30am and there was 1 space left, quiet and comfortable night sleep, even had a lazy morning in bed reading! locals come and go from the car park but not seem bothered by the campers, like others have said; don’t leave without checking out the cute medieval village, lovely stroll!
Cosy place to spend a quiet night with your camper. However, arrive early enough, because it fills up quickly towards evening. We arrived around noon and still had plenty of choice. Be sure to walk around the village and get croissants at Le Fournil du K!
Very good, only for sleeping, shared with other vehicles, no services. Excellent and quiet place. Do not leave without visiting the village.
Small parking lot, a little noisy early in the morning. Otherwise everything is great! We spent one night here. We walked around the village. It is very cool that all the houses are inhabited, and you can visit many different wineries and taste wine. You can sometimes hear a stork living on the wall. Beautiful and peaceful.
