A flat, shaded parking and picnic area in the forest, with hiking departures from Chemin de la Madeleine. It is generally very quiet, with many birds, occasional walkers and cars belonging to hikers. Three picnic tables are available, and numerous easy or demanding walks start nearby. A 3t vehicle restriction is signposted, although a 9t expedition motorhome reportedly managed the steep approach.
