We only intended to stay one night and extended our stay. Exposed location with a view of the harbour and spectacular sunsets. The town centre and the famous ski jumps are easily reachable on foot. Easy registration at Lokki Restaurant. Clean showers, toilets and washing-up facilities are available. Fresh water with your own hose, no other waste disposal. Gladly again :-)Translating
A note about the site: it is unsuitable for longer motorhomes over 5 m, unless you are inconsiderate and reverse with the rear over the pavement.Translating
Quite okay overall, the night was pleasantly quiet and the staff at Lokki Restaurant were very nice. Unfortunately it was not completely clean and soap/paper towels were missing. Therefore only 3 stars.Translating
A good place for the night. Toilets and showers are clean. Toilet brushes and floor squeegees in the showers would be desirable. Current prices: staying without electricity with use of toilet and shower: €20. With electricity as well (spaces are at the back): €28. So €8 for electricity. I find that much too expensive! Therefore only 3 stars!Translating
Magnificent view, very quiet, showers wonderfully warm, cleanliness good to very good. Restaurant very friendly, perfect for cycling and jogging in the morning. A wonderful place in a very cosy town. We will gladly return anytime!Translating
The best thing is the location, right by the yacht harbour. We got help at the restaurant, paid €20 there and received the code for the toilets and showers. Magnificent sunset view. The road is a dead end; traffic did not bother us. Tips: buffet at the restaurant (€30, with a huge selection including dessert) and breakfast at the old railway station (café 300 m away).Translating
The location is great. However the €20 charge isn't worth it for cold showers. There were locals messing about outside the van last night and they smashed a toilet window. Such a shame, we didnt feel safe after hearing this. The check in is complicated, you go to the Lokki restaurant for help. There is a key box for access to the toilet and showers. Town is a short walk away as is the Ski JumpTranslating
Parking next to the harbour with a beautiful view. Quietly situated. Foreigners should register at the restaurant to avoid language problems with the QR code (everything is in Finnish). Toilet, shower, washing machine and dryer all in excellent condition.Translating
Beautiful view and the town is also close by. But it certainly cannot be considered a quiet place. Since the area is public urban space, many people pass through and traffic is not exactly 100 cars per hour, but still around 10.Translating
a lot of amenities and the Sauna/restautant is great, as they just opened a few days ago. Lovely staff that gave us a lot of recommendations for our journey.Translating
Beautiful and quietly located—ideal—everything easily reachable on foot—but the pitch is not free of charge! Payment must be made via a QR code at the sanitary building, which links to a website written exclusively in Finnish. Only the payment link is partly in English—everything is somewhat complicated. It would be nice if the operators offered an English version for international guests.Translating
On parking sign says 48h for motorhomes. No payment info. No services. Good and nice place for stay. Translating
The place is beautifully situated, but it is no longer free. It costs €22 for 24 hours, regardless of whether the toilet or shower is used!Translating
Unfortunately, the parking area is no longer as described. The restaurant no longer has the keys for the toilet and shower, and we were directed to the next campsite. There is a public toilet in the park next door, though. We spent two nights here without any problems. It was quite noisy on Saturday because many people came to the harbour to watch the sunset. But it was quiet by midnight.Translating
I parked here for one night completely free!! Perfect, with views of the lake!! There are toilets at the beginning of the road, but I did not use them.Translating
