This is a wild spot at the top of the Hautacam station, offering a panoramic view and several nearby places to stop. The 1km track is practicable for all vehicle types, and there are one or two approximately level spaces. It is a starting point for easy family walks, including a route to the lake. There may be hikers during the day, while nights are calm, with sheep, horses and cows nearby.

A beautiful place. Several spots nearby. Perfect for starting hikes.
Superb view and quiet spot! A few sheep and horses came to visit. Our daughters were delighted, and so were we!
Great spot! A few people during the day for hiking, but the nights are quiet. It was windy and a little chilly during our stay. A very easy, family-friendly walk to the lake directly from the spot. The road is driveable with any type of vehicle, but it is still a track.
Superb place, with a drivable road for vans and campervans. Quite a few spots along the road. Quiet night, incredible view, and a hiking trail starting point.
