6 Rua do Hospital Velho, 7580, Alcácer do Sal
Been here?
This is a free, quiet gravel parking area beside a bell tower, with attractive views over the river and surroundings. Access is steep and narrow, but motorhomes of 7 and 7.30m have entered successfully. There are no services, although a bin is available, and the church and archaeological crypt are nearby.

It is a little narrow to enter, but we managed fine with 7- and 7.3-metre motorhomes. We slept wonderfully, with no services.
The access passes through a narrow street, but the place is good. We spent a very peaceful night. It is near the Church of Senhora do Castelo and the Archaeological Crypt, which are worth visiting.
Free unpaved parking area at the top of the village, next to the castle remains. Nice view. Quiet day and night. Rubbish bin available. Be careful: the access road is steep and narrow, suitable for vans and panel vans.
Very peaceful spot at the top of a small hill, next to a little bell tower, with a very impressive view of the river. Highly recommended.
Address in GPS and couldn’t find the place. Extremely tight roads. Would suggest going elsewhere.
After a fairly easy climb for our van, we had dinner with a superb view over the town, fields, and river. Very quiet night on a flat, gravelled parking area.
It is better not to venture there with a motorhome. Narrow and complicated streets in this lovely little village.
Beautiful view from the city. Quiet place. The bell from the church goes on few times but did not bother. If you drive through Rua da Matriz it is fine to get there.
Great spot. We enjoyed the night and were pleased by the church tower bells. The approach clockwise is somewhat narrow. It is better counterclockwise via Rua da Matriz.
Complicated climb with narrow sections. Very quiet for parking, but far from the centre.
