Really nice place for a single overnight stay. Very good service when we arrived late in the evening and called them. The note with the number was a little difficult to find, but it hangs on the side of what looks like a shed just before the barrier. As others have written, the toilet and shower facilities are old, but there are new showers, good water pressure, and everything is clean, so we have no complaints.

Beautiful place with a great forest for the dogs. The outdoor pool is small but good. The sanitary facilities are clean. However, gray water cannot be dumped.

I spontaneously stayed here for two nights from 9 to 11 August, was warmly welcomed, and had no trouble getting a pitch. The sanitary facilities are older but clean and available in sufficient numbers. I would gladly return when passing through. P.S. I also encountered two rabbits on the site at night :-D

Beautiful campsite located in the forest with an adjacent outdoor pool. Everything is clean, the staff are extremely friendly and help with all questions. The sanitary facilities are very clean; I leave them as I would like to find them. One star deducted only because the sanitary facilities could use some renovation, although they have their charm. The restaurant is also recommended.

Really nice place with good food and clean facilities. Were supposed to stay for only 1 night, but decided to do 2 :) The host is friendly and can be reached by phone until late. We will for sure come back.

A warm welcome despite the late hour. Thanks to Silvana and a brief phone call, we were able to arrive around 9:30 p.m. The orientation was very kind, the cake in the café is delicious, and the surroundings are extremely peaceful. Don’t come here looking for good mobile reception, but I think that’s fine. The outdoor pool is right next door, and there are many hiking trails. The moor is a little farther away. Anyone looking for action is in the wrong place here. But there is a children’s playground and plenty of coziness. The sanitary facilities are practical and clean. You get shower tokens on arrival. In our view, the price-performance ratio is okay ❤️ Thank you very much for this little piece of earth.

The address of the forest campsite is Ummelweg 100, 27412 Hepstedt. It is a quiet, no-frills campsite with large grassy pitches. No problem for a motorhome 7 m long and weighing 3.5 tonnes. There is an on-site restaurant with delicious burgers. A heated outdoor pool is right next door from mid-May to mid-September.

Quiet, secluded site next to the outdoor pool. Ideal for hiking and cycling. A little expensive: €20 for two people in a motorhome, plus €3 for electricity, €0.50 for a shower token, and €2 per dog. The café/restaurant operators are very nice, and you can get homemade food at a fair price.
