Les Scarres, 04140, Seyne-les-Alpes
Been here?
Quiet, family-run campsite in a green natural setting beside a small river, with large shaded and well-spaced pitches. Sanitary facilities are old or vintage but consistently reported as very clean, with no pool or evening entertainment and therefore little noise. The village is about a half-hour walk away, or 10 minutes by bicycle. Recent comments also report both warm welcomes and complaints about an imposed €24 package and electricity.

Our second stay at this campsite. The welcome is still just as pleasant. The facilities are old but perfectly clean. Large, shaded pitches. No pool and no nighttime entertainment, so no noise disturbance. Ideal for a peaceful stay in nature.
A little corner of paradise run by a very charming couple. We enjoyed peace and quiet in a lush setting. Spotless facilities. Thank you to Valérie and Bruno. We will come back.....
Terrible welcome; they force you to take the €24 package even though we did not need it. Only exhaustion forced us to stay.
What a terrible welcome! They look you up and down, speak rudely and impose electricity even if you do not need it! I will go somewhere else.
Wonderful little campsite with everything you need. Very peacefully located. It is a half-hour walk to the village, partly along a hiking trail. Very warm welcome. I cannot understand the earlier comments. The facilities are perfectly acceptable. We will definitely come back sometime.
Very well-maintained campsite; the bathrooms smell fresh and everything is beautifully cared for. Ten minutes by bicycle from the village center. The owners are very friendly. It is wonderfully peaceful. A small stream runs near the campsite. Highly recommended if you are looking for some rest.
If you like ‘vintage’, you are in the right place. Campsite in the heart of nature beside the river, green and heavily wooded, with well-spaced pitches, a large playground and a pétanque court. The village is 25 minutes away on foot. The facilities are ‘vintage’ but in perfect condition and extremely clean; perfect hygiene! Excellent! Friendly, very kind managers. Bar on site and pistou soup.
Danbreiz. Friendly campsite. We spent one night here. Welcoming manager, heated and very clean facilities, hot water for washing dishes. In short, just like home. I recommend making the detour.
Family campsite, extremely clean facilities, large shaded grassy pitch, and a very friendly campsite manager. We had a wonderful holiday. I recommend this place for a restful vacation in pleasant surroundings! You feel at home here.
Very quiet campsite, with a warm and welcoming reception, contrary to previous comments. Clean and functional facilities. Pitches beneath the trees, lots of birds, and the river at the end of the campsite. Two pétanque courts with boules available, plus a bar for an aperitif—that is what holidays are about.
Terrible welcome, avoid this place, unfriendly, a catastrophe... What a shame, because the setting would be nice if...
We planned to stay several days on this campsite to explore the region by MTB. This is the only campsite still open this time of the year, and after all it can’t be that bad, as suggested by some 1* ratings, can it? Well I am afraid it is. The reception was indeed rude. We literally got yelled at. And the pitches available for camper vans, are fully surrounded by all kind of permanent caravans.
