A quiet, shady parking area in a side street beside the canal, suitable only for small and medium-sized campers. The river can be heard at night, while occasional parties in nearby allotment gardens may create noise. A restaurant is 2 minutes away, and public transport provides good access to Leipzig city centre.

Great place for visiting the KulturKraftWerk exhibition. And at the end of the street there is a cool snack bar. Gladly again when we are in Leipzig. Only suitable for small and medium-sized campers. Please leave the place clean. Thank you :)
Many parking spaces along the road directly beside the canal. Quiet, apart from a party in one of the neighboring allotment gardens.

Beautiful quiet spot directly beside the canal. We stayed here for one night, absolutely quiet. You can hear the tram some distance away, but that is the case everywhere in Leipzig. In the morning, a woman walking her dog politely pointed out that although there is no prohibition sign, parking there is not allowed because it is a service road. Others have said it is possible.

Turning around in the dead end is hardly possible with a 6 m motorhome. Not recommended. We found a parking space on Saalfelderstraße further uphill for visiting the KunstKraftWerk.
