8 Via San Benedetto, 50066, Vallombrosa
Been here?
A peaceful motorhome area in a forested setting at about 1000 metres, close to Vallombrosa Abbey, restaurants, and walking routes. Parking costs 10€ without services or 20€ with services, including electricity and loading and unloading. The area has large pitches, picnic tables, barbecues, and a well-kept dump point. Mobile phone coverage is absent, and the water button must be pressed every 2 seconds.

The area is okay, but the push-button water-filling system needs improvement: the button has to be pressed every two seconds! No mobile signal coverage, which is a shame for an area with many visitors.Translating
The area was tidy; about ten motorhomes were present on Friday evening, with no disturbance or problems. The black- and grey-water disposal area is well maintained. Several places to eat are just a short walk away. The abbey and the entire forest area are beautiful. A place to return to.Translating
The area is nice, but some motorhome users act as if they own it, with cars accompanying them. There are no inspections. Payment is made via the parking meter or the EasyPark app. The spaces marked with blue lines are divided into two areas: one larger area with electricity and one without. When we arrived on Friday evening it was very crowded, and from Saturday onward it was always full, with motorhomes even parked outside the blue lines.Translating
Nice area with services, large pitches, in a beautiful setting at 1,000 metres. €20 with services, €10 for parking only.Translating
Quite expensive. Enormous grounds, lots of forest, with a very small area for motorhomes—the €10 area. A bit disappointing and stingy. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful.Translating
Good, fairly quiet area, partly on gravel and partly on asphalt. Payment is from midnight to midnight: €10 for parking only and €20 with services. As always, the cost is fairly high.Translating
Nice parking area for visiting the abbey. Shame about the cost: €10 without services, €20 with services. Payment must be made via a parking meter that accepts only coins, and the card reader was not working.Translating
Very quiet place surrounded by greenery at about 1,000 metres altitude, with water filling and waste disposal services and electricity. Walking opportunities, barbecue area and lawn. The downside is the unjustified €12 increase, from €8 to €20 with one click.Translating
The motorhome area is in a very attractive woodland setting, but in spring there is a high level of pollen, making it unsuitable for allergy sufferers and causing pollen to accumulate on vehicles. There is also no phone signal for users of the Iliad network.Translating
Recently renovated parking area, very beautiful and functional. There are about fifteen spaces with large pitches. Electricity, waste disposal and water filling are available. The surroundings are very beautiful. Just above the area there are tables and barbecue stations. Quiet night.Translating
Beautiful parking area, free from October 1 to May 31, with electricity and waste-disposal facilities. €8 per day during the other months. Quiet place for pleasant walks and relaxation. The abbey can only be visited at certain times, so it is better to check in advance. There is a beautiful lawn for picnics and relaxation, and a children's playground.Translating
Quiet, clean and peaceful place in the middle of the forest. Free outside the season; paid from June to September. Barbecue and picnic tables available. Water service, cassette cleaning and grey-water disposal available. Bins provided. No nearby shops, so plan ahead. Highly recommended.Translating
Excellent parking area surrounded by greenery and the silence of the forest. A short walk from Vallombrosa Abbey. Three barbecue stations available, with picnic areas nearby. Spacious pitches allowing you to open the awning. Truly silent at night; you hear only the sounds of nature. Free, including electricity, from October 1 to May 31.Translating
New, beautiful parking area, but unusable because long-term campers have occupied it for about three months, probably without paying because the barrier is stuck open. No spaces available, although the sign says stays are limited to 48 hours. Waste disposal and water filling are still possible even though the area is occupied. No bathrooms, sinks or other additional services.Translating
Excellent parking area, unfortunately unusable because of the improper behaviour of some motorhome users who occupy most of the available spaces for long periods, preventing passing motorhomes from stopping. I hope the municipality takes action.Translating
Parking area occupied by a group of 10 long-term motorhome users who do as they please, coming and going by car. It is almost impossible to find a place for one or two nights as permitted by the rules. The municipality must close the barriers, otherwise the area is unusable.Translating
