15 Route du Petit Marchais, 17880, Les Portes-en-Ré
Been here?
A barrier-controlled parking area with the beach 20m away, calm nights at times and the sound of waves. Public toilets are 10mn on foot, but opening the roof or setting out tables and chairs has prompted a visit from the municipal police. The area can be quiet during the day, while young people or beachgoers may create late-night noise. Parking beyond 48h may also lead to a complaint.

Nice parking area, quiet at night, with the waves as a lullaby. However, avoid opening the roof or setting out a table and chairs. I received a cordial visit from the municipal police—just a reprimand.Translating
Very nice, quiet parking area, with mostly pleasant people, except for this shrew who calls the police after 48 hours of parking. Public toilets are a 10-minute walk away, the sea is 20 metres away, and the nights are quiet, lulled by the waves. A good spot.Translating
Quiet during the day, but in the evening it is a spot where young people gather to listen to music late into the night.Translating
Perfect for leaving the van during the day to visit the town or enjoy the beach.Translating
We spent the night there; the location is excellent. However, there was a huge amount of traffic all night, with people coming and going to the beach throughout the night.Translating
Quiet place; we had a good night’s sleep, waking up to the murmur of the waves. A few mosquitoes at dusk.Translating
It is the best place on the island ♥️ Thank you.Translating
Nice, quiet spot. Dream breakfast on the beach at sunrise—“a dream.” 2 m barrier, peaceful night; we stayed two nights.Translating
