just pulled in three or four hours ago..this place is a must,hot showers , toilets, electricity..and a view on the small lake.. couldn't ask for more.

A great welcome from Jean-Luc, with large, very shady pitches. Picnic tables, outdoor and indoor showers. Swimming is possible despite the prohibition, but you must respect the fishermen. I recommend this site during hot weather. Many thanks again to the municipality. Note: there are no shops; you have to go to Chantelle. Very good value for money.

Great little campsite with marked pitches at the back. Nothing fancy, just the basics, but showers, hot water at the sinks, and bins. All for €8 without electricity. The municipal employees collecting the pitch fee are friendly.

At 2 a.m. we had to call the police because of disturbances. Local people who had been partying with loud music all evening came knocking on our camper. They pretended to be from the municipality to collect money. When we did not open the door, they unplugged our electricity. When the police arrived, we immediately packed up and left in a hurry. This place is absolutely not safe.

We arrived at this campsite for the second time on our outward journey. The first time, everything was fine: beautiful spacious pitches, a small pond, and a small sanitary block. The camper and caravan pitches also have electricity. We paid €10.80 for two people for one night with electricity. On our return journey, we decided to stop here again, but we should not have. Perhaps there was a party going on, but there was absolutely no respect or nighttime peace for the campers—rather, drunk, loud men with even louder music that was terrible. Next time we will skip this municipal campsite.

I recommend it. Not a sound! Hot shower and electricity for €10 per night. Nothing to complain about; for the price, it is perfect!

An extraordinary visit, good pitches with electricity. Very quiet and very reasonably priced: €11.60 for a motorhome with four people, electrical hookup, bathroom, and very good shower. Highly recommended.

Beautiful spot on small lake, grassy, shaded pitches, picnic tables. Only 8.64€ for 1 night, family of 4 without electricity. Sign said no swimming but we did. Friendly caretaker was fine with it. He also didn't charge us for the kids which we really appreciated. Toilets are older and although not super clean, they were fine for us. Outdoor cold shower. Perfect for a stopover! Great fishing too!

We spent one night beside this pond. The pitch was grassy, clean, and separated by hedges. Clean toilets and outdoor showers. We did not see the caretaker, so it was free, but we had no access to the locked showers.

A very beautiful site directly by the lake. A man comes by to collect payment. We paid €8.65 for two people. You also get a key to a private bathroom. Simply great!

A great municipal campsite! Completely surrounded by nature and very quiet. We swam in the pond without any problems (swimming is prohibited because there is no lifeguard). There is electricity at the pitches bordered by hedges. One toilet, an outdoor shower, and a hot shower opened on request by the employee; sink with hot water. €10.40 per night for three people.

Wonderful quiet place, €9 per night. The caretaker gave us a key for the shower and toilet. Lovely hot water, though dated. Officially, swimming is not allowed in the lake, but it is fine. Gallo-Roman village nearby, Charroux. No motorhome facilities, but electricity is available if needed. No supermarkets in the surrounding area, so stock up beforehand!

Very quiet, pond and well-maintained campsite, and the overnight stay is not too expensive.

Very quiet, remote place beside a fishing lake. One toilet, with toilet paper, is available; a shower, for which you must ask for the key; electricity for those who want it; and a washing-up/laundry sink. Minimal facilities, somewhat old but perfectly adequate. €7.44 for two people with a van, without electricity or other facilities. We spent a peaceful, quiet night here, thanks to the community.
