Via Lungomare degli Achei, 87070, Borgata Marina
Been here?
A free seaside parking area that is busiest in summer and generally quieter from mid-September, including at night. Recent reports describe a narrow roadside strip with passing traffic, while trees can restrict access for very tall motorhomes. The pebble beach, shade near the pine area and separate waste bins are useful, and beach showers work seasonally but were off in December. Parking restrictions may apply in July and August.

I stayed two nights on the seafront by the pine forest, shaded and quiet out of season. The beach consists of large stones, which are leveled by bulldozers. Bins are available for throwing away plastic bottles and similar rubbish collected in the pine forest.
Plenty of room to park by the sea. Quiet night!
Parking directly on the promenade road with passing traffic! A very narrow parking strip, not a parking area as described. If you like that kind of thing... There is no height restriction, although some of the listed parking spaces are restricted by trees for very tall motorhomes.
We had a quiet night at the beginning of December. We were alone. The beach showers were turned off.
Quiet out of season with a spectacular sunrise view. Only a few cars passed during the night.
At the end of September, plenty of free parking spaces. We also spent the night undisturbed. Very nice pebble beach with warm beach showers. An open restaurant was very difficult to find.
We parked on the seafront, but two female traffic officers asked us to move to the parking area by the sports field.
Parking permitted in May, shaded and white-marked spaces on the seafront, free of charge. Beach with large pebbles and working showers. At the end of May, very few people.
Seafront parking permitted except during July and August. Quiet night, with a few cars passing until 10 p.m.
