19 Place de l'Église, 07610, Vion
Been here?
A free picnic and parking area beside the cemetery, with a water tap, picnic table, benches, bins and countryside views. The location is peaceful, secluded and well maintained, making it suitable for a meal break. Access includes narrow village lanes and a steep, sharp hairpin requiring manoeuvring. Larger motorhomes, including 7 m vehicles, may find access difficult.

What a wonderfully beautiful place—somewhat secluded and surrounded by greenery! Several lookout benches, a picnic table, and rubbish bins—everything is available and in immaculate condition! I had no problem with the access because my converted estate car/minicamper can get through almost anywhere.
Great. We stopped there for a meal break. Be sure to follow the GPS; the village sometimes consists of very narrow lanes.
It is true that access is not the easiest. With a 7 m motorhome, the hairpin bend requires a maneuver, but once there it is top-notch. Thanks to the municipality, and please try to leave this place as you found it.
We are here now and hope we will not be turned away. There is an extremely sharp hairpin bend with a slope; we managed the turn with several attempts and slipping tires. Our motorhome is 7.20 meters long, and we are already dreading tomorrow because we will have to take the same road back downhill. Really only suitable for a campervan.
Be careful: narrow access road, almost impossible to pass another car. Beautiful hairpin bend on the way up; maneuvering is mandatory but delicate. I have a motorhome 7 m long and 2.30 m wide. Lunch break only.
