5 Calle Hermanos Machado, 03007, Alicante (Alacant)
Been here?
A gravel and dirt parking area suitable for large camper vans, about 20 minutes’ walk from Alicante city centre and the port. It has no services, and the ground can become muddy in rainy weather. Dog mess is common, while the area is generally quiet at night. It may fill with cars in the morning, so arriving in the afternoon or evening is preferable.

We arrived in the rain, and there was nothing left of the gravel site. It was a muddy affair. Thankfully, we found a spot in the outside area by the road. The entire site is covered in dog excrement. It is absolutely not recommended in bad weather. We will definitely not come here again.
I think the site is barely drivable in rain and wet conditions. Overall it isn’t attractive, but it is close to the city. Around the parking area there are additional verges where you can park. In the evening there is space; by late morning everything is packed, including the parking area. Arriving in the afternoon or evening is therefore advisable. We stayed one night and it was okay.
We didn’t expect much, but it could always be worse. We drove on.
We spent a peaceful night here. We felt no sense of danger whatsoever. About 20 minutes’ walk from the center. Many shops nearby. It’s true that pet owners could be cleaner!!
Quiet place. We slept there for two nights without any problems. Dirt parking area with lots of dog mess, 25 minutes from the center. Very beautiful city.
I slept three nights in the paved parking spaces right next to it. Really peaceful, with only local residents parking there. No theft or problems at all; I really recommend it. If you walk at a decent pace, you’ll be right in the city center in a good 20 minutes. No amenities, though.
Dirt parking area, quiet at night, approximately 2 km from the city center.
There is plenty of space here, but it is very dusty. Many residents walk their dogs here, so there are accordingly many piles of dog mess. Fine as a daytime stop or for one night, but not recommended for longer stays. Quiet at night, though. ❗
It’s an ideal place for visiting central Alicante, just a 20-minute walk away. There is almost always space to park. If you arrive in the late afternoon or evening, you will almost certainly find a spot. Thursdays are market days, so we don’t recommend entering if you arrive in the morning. We did, and it felt like a trap—we could barely get out. At night it is safe and quiet.
12.00 full with cars
Indeed, there are quite a few ruts, but you can find a way through. Convenient for visiting the city, which is about a 35-minute walk away. We did not stay overnight.
It is simply an empty space where construction has not yet begun. Some neighbors park their cars there, but there are no services at all and the area has no particular interest. There is room for vehicles of any length, as shown in the photos. The views are apartment towers and a secondary school.
