Monastery grounds, overnight ban

We were woken by the local police, who told us that sleeping here was prohibited. I told them there was no sign, so we could not have known. They said it was an order from the prefecture/city and that we had to leave immediately or risk a fine.

We spent one night here; it was okay, but you are definitely not alone. Many people come by with their dogs, as well as motocross riders.

The place itself is extremely beautiful. However, you do not have peace at night. Many people pass by and you hear barking dogs. There are also many small mosquitoes. If you want complete peace and solitude, this is the wrong place. Otherwise, it is a good, level site.

Great and peaceful spot. Flat terrains. We were the only ones but there is plenty of space there anyway. Def recommend.

We took the southern route at dusk and were worried because the road was very bumpy. Fortunately, we arrived at a very pretty, large and pleasant site, despite the loud music from the open-air café below.

It is very quiet. There are several terraces, some better than others. Next to the monastery. It is better to enter through the nearest housing development.

Really not recommended for vehicles other than stealth campers. We just about made it up the ridiculously steep roads and over rubble and pot-holed tracks but our poor old motorhome wasn't happy. Very quiet night spent though.

Very good place to watch the sunrise with a great view.

Quiet spot among the trees, suitable for dogs. Plenty of space and level parking.

Went here to stay the night but ended up leaving. The space is big, flat and quite clean with n ok view. However we were here in September and after 3pm you don’t get any sun, also there are a lot of traces from boars and we did not feel totally comfortable with our dog. We came from Can Rigol and had no problem. However tried to leave the other way and had to turn back due to getting stuck in a slope (have a small van, no 4x4). Also one road maps suggest did not exist.

Arrive via Can Rigol. Only 500 m of very good road.

We encountered a mother wild boar with her piglets in the street just before starting the track; it was so cute. The spot is a little muddy if it has rained, but it is fine. We had all the space we wanted and were alone. The night was very quiet, although we could hear dogs in the distance. A short walk to the monastery. The next morning, go down on foot to the left and then up a little. The place is truly peaceful, 45 minutes from Barcelona. It is really excellent.

Perfect place for a quiet, secluded night! We arrived late at the spot (11:30 p.m.) and were completely alone in this enormous area—great, we could choose the flattest terrace! Apart from two or three nocturnal animals and nearby dogs barking (which we are used to), it was absolutely quiet throughout the night. In the morning, two or three cyclists and a few walkers. We recommend it!

Dreamy overnight spot! The parking area is terraced, with room for at least five vehicles without disturbing one another. Access via Can Rigol is no problem at all! Walkers and cyclists pass by occasionally. We spent three nights there because we did not want to stay overnight in Barcelona. The area around the monastery is very beautiful.

the road from south is not nice but i did it with a vw transporter t4 (no 4x4) better drive from north the parking is nice k

The spot is easy to reach from the north. Only the bumpy gravel track during the last 200 m was somewhat difficult. It is relatively quiet, although there is already quite a lot of rubbish and you can hear many dogs barking.
