This lay-by off the A5 is set back from the road and offers a practical overnight stop for several vans, with some shade and nice views from the side door. It is slightly sloping, quiet at night, and busy during the day. Roadworks and traffic controls nearby can cause queues. There is a café, though it was closed when visited, and there is no 4G signal.

Handy for Betws y Coed, slightly sloping, a nice easy option for a one night stay. Roadworks and traffic control just round the corner causing traffic to queue to the layby. Not a big deal on a Sunday evening in December. No 4G signal.
very good overnight stop. No signs/instructions. Great to break up journey. Fairly flat. Quiet at night. It is on A5, so expect it to be busy during the day.
