16 Via Ezio Maccani, 38121, Trento
Been here?
This is a lit parking area beside the CONI sports field, suitable for a quiet overnight stay but with no services. It is about 2 km from the city center, with a bus on Via Maccani. Daytime parking is limited to 2 hours with a blue parking disc, while there is no fee after 7:30 pm. The former 3 camper spaces no longer exist, so larger vehicles may need 2 car spaces.

Convenient for visiting the city. About 2 km from the city center. No parking fee after 7:30 p.m.
Very suitable for an overnight stay. Unfortunately, there are at most three spaces for large motorhomes; otherwise there are plenty of car spaces. Very quiet, directly beside a sports academy football field. During the day, parking is allowed from 8 a.m. for a maximum of two hours with a blue parking disc.
Unfortunately, the parking area has been resurfaced and the spaces have been shortened, making them suitable only for cars. Anyone extending beyond the lines can only rely on the goodwill of the traffic wardens. Trento is not hostile to motorhomes, but it does nothing to encourage them to stay.
It should correctly be called Piazzale Camillo Rusconi. You have two options: park free for two hours in the white-marked spaces using a parking disc, or park in the blue spaces for €0.50 per hour.
Great place if you plan to visit Trento. It is easy to reach from the main road. Parking is paid from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (€0.50 per hour); at other times it is free. Staying overnight is no problem. However, the night can be a bit noisy because the place is next to a railway track. In the evening, we were lucky enough to watch a football match on the neighboring field.
Good for parking while visiting the city. We were there only during the day and paid €2 for four hours of parking. There are also spaces for motorhomes.
Nice and spacious, with parking spaces that can accommodate a 6-meter camper. Unlike the parking areas directly in the city, there is still plenty of space at lunchtime during the week. Twenty minutes on foot to the city center.
Quiet area for the night, parking for vehicles up to 7 meters, free overnight, but paid during the day.
Very comfortable parking area. We arrived late Saturday afternoon and paid €1 for one hour until paid parking ended at 7:30 p.m. Sunday was free, followed by a leisurely 25-minute walk to the old town, then we watched a football match in the stadium behind the motorhome. We also topped up the motorhome with water from a square five minutes away. Highly recommended.
We stayed there on the first weekend of May. The night was quiet, but the next day, while we were away, someone opened the refrigerator grille, perhaps to see whether there was anything of interest inside!
Parking area at the football field, illuminated and quiet. We spent two nights without problems.
Quiet parking area.
Lovely spot. We spent one night alone, apart from the many invading flies. It was wonderful to wake up in clean, unspoiled nature. No services, which is normal. Thank you for this place.
