Camp Fjället

Wonderful nature campsite; anyone wanting luxury should keep driving. We were practically alone, but not quite. The owner is from Switzerland, was extremely friendly, and had lovingly arranged everything. We had views of the cows and the open landscape. Many thanks—we will definitely return next year.

I would gladly give twice as many stars if I could. Such a lovingly arranged site, with attention to detail! Everything looks brand new. We had the pitch on the hill and felt a little like we were in Middle-earth. It was quiet, and the owner even came by again to ask whether everything was all right. We certainly will not have visited this place for the last time :)

What a beautiful campsite; we were there with a campervan and could choose a lovely spot ourselves. The owner was very helpful and everything was perfectly organized. The sanitary facilities were very clean, and it is definitely recommended if you are in the area.

We spent one night at this beautifully landscaped, natural campsite—absolutely idyllic! We were completely alone yet centrally located. Very nice landlord. Very quiet, with everything available. A lot of love has gone into the site. Hans Peter is especially accommodating and takes great care when allocating pitches for dogs so that everyone can truly enjoy their peace.

Wow, wow, wow! We were passing through this wonderful place and immediately stayed one day longer than planned. So peaceful, surrounded by nature, super clean, and incredibly welcoming. We will definitely come back.

Great site with lots of rustic atmosphere. The facilities are excellent. The pitches are spacious, and the owners are warm and helpful. An absolutely recommended place where we arrived spontaneously and were lucky it was not full. During high season, it is certainly advisable to reserve well in advance.

We planned one night and stayed three! Hans Peter gave us a very warm welcome, and we immediately felt comfortable and welcome. The site is beautiful, pure nature, and very well maintained. There is a central service building with showers and toilets. A washing machine and dishwashing area are also available. No card payments and no Wi-Fi, but peace and relaxation. We highly recommend it.

We were here for the second time—the first was four years ago—and we are still delighted. Despite the constant rain, we felt completely welcome at this beautiful campsite in the middle of nature. A wonderful place! Absolute peace and quiet! We received a very friendly welcome and immediately got a great pitch for our bus. Everything is lovingly arranged and landscaped. I would come here again anytime when in the area! At 19 euros in cash for two people in a bus without electricity, it is a very good price for the site. Thanks to the friendly owners!

Nice place!! Perfect. Peace, nature, and a comfortably arranged site where the extremely dedicated owner pays attention to privacy. The service building is clean and lovingly maintained. Cash payment in euros or Swedish kronor. We stayed on the meadow and could watch fallow deer at dusk.

The campsite is very well maintained, and a warm-hearted host has organized it so that everyone has their own private area. We hardly came into contact with others except in the service building, which is also very clean. The owners do not accept card payments, but cash is accepted in both kronor and euros (€17.50 per night without electricity). It is best to call ahead!

Absolute peace and quiet! Anyone looking for a short break is exactly right here. You immediately notice how much love has gone into this campsite. There is plenty of space at your spot. The toilets are very clean, and the surroundings are simply wonderful. We will definitely return; we stayed one night.

We heard about this place by word of mouth while traveling. Luckily, we still got a pitch for our motorhome. Very rustic and sustainable—waste separation is especially thorough, right down to organic waste. Several small huts and a central service building. We would gladly return.

A beautiful, small campsite run with great care. Hans Peter places great importance on his guests’ well-being—peace and quiet come first here. Better to have one fewer pitch than to pack people in. The sanitary facilities are always clean. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to return.

Very good small campsite. We had a pitch higher up with a good view and plenty of room. Firewood is available and can be used anytime. The owner is very friendly and speaks German. He built everything himself and takes care of everything. The toilets and showers are extremely clean. We would be happy to return.

Incredibly friendly owner from Switzerland. As described in the comments, the privacy while camping on the beautiful pitches is almost unbelievable. Quite rightly very popular, so it is best to reserve by phone. Ask for the pitch on the hill—you’re welcome. ;)
