What is expensive about €4–8? Some people simply have to complain :-( The place is lovely, the staff friendly, and I felt comfortable. Beautiful cycle paths, and anyone who is fit can even make it to Zuheros. There is hardly any space for motorhomes there, which is a shame. The municipality should finish the large site up there.✦Translating

The area is quite good and road noise is low, but they charge for everything: parking €4 (€8 at weekends), emptying and filling, electricity €4, shower €1.20... The shower water, operated with tokens, lasts four minutes.✦Translating

For the price, the area is very good. You can hear the road somewhat, but it is no problem for sleeping. The downside is the reservation system: if you do not make the reservation at least during the morning of the previous day, they do not guarantee a place. You cannot choose a pitch, and if you want more than one space to travel with others, you cannot request adjoining spaces and may be separated.✦Translating

Good area with toilets, a €1.20 shower, grey-water emptying and filling. Next to the Olive Oil Greenway. You must reserve on the Doña Mencía municipal website at least 48 hours in advance from Monday to Friday. You can put chairs and a table outside the van. Access road with deep potholes. The reservation must be made by 2:30 p.m. on the day of arrival at the latest, otherwise you do not receive the access code for the entrance barrier. Very noisy because it is directly beside a main road.

Mixed experience. Beautiful spot between a busy road and a former railway trail. Good facilities, but poorly managed. Pitch assignments are rigid via the municipality, and staff can't change them. Electricity is limited; we waited a day for a hook-up. Showers/WC are locked—ask the bike shop to pay.

Terrible welcome; we were firmly turned away. You must register online in advance the day before and go to the tourist office for validation. Avoid this campsite—lodging could hardly be made more complicated.

Very good area. The bicycle man charged us and we went to our pitch. The shower was very hot; everything was excellent. I see other comments rating it very badly, but for us everything was fantastic.

Highly recommended area next to the Greenway. If you like walking or cycling, this is your place. Very attentive staff; Señor Rafael lives there, is very kind and quickly finds you a place. Weekend price without electricity is €15, and €25 with electricity. They also have tables beside the Greenway for eating in the winter sun.

This area is a disaster in terms of management, which is municipal, and in its general condition. The toilets usually have no paper, there is never any soap, and daily cleaning is minimal. The ground is uneven and lacks gravel, so when it rains it becomes a mud pit. It is right beside a busy road with many lorries, making the noise unbearable.

Arrival at this camper site is somewhat complicated. First, you have to register in advance. You cannot do this with a normal email because it does not arrive. You must use the form on the website. Go through “contact,” then “website,” scroll down to “AUTOCARAVANAS,” and click “reservas” above it.

After calling without anyone answering, I sent an email to reserve. Several hours later I arrived at the area without having received a reply. There I found the person in charge, who said I could not enter without a reservation. I told him I had made one but had received no reply, and he said to be patient because they always respond. In the end we left.

Magnificent area, nothing to complain about, although you must reserve in advance. We reserved on Friday at noon and immediately received confirmation—thank you, Marga. The cycling club people were friendly. A superb visit to the archaeological museum with its director, followed by a visit to the castle. The Flower Streets route is beautiful, and what can I say about Miguel and his wine museum? It was a pleasure meeting you all.

Let’s see, this is a lottery: sometimes you reserve and they do not reply; sometimes you arrive with a reservation and the entrance does not work; sometimes you ask at the bicycle store and can get in. In short, not very professional.

It is a real shame that this area cannot be used. We arrived at 8 p.m. to spend the night but could not enter because reservations must be made on the town hall website one day in advance and before 2:30 p.m. There were only three motorhomes and we had to leave. With all the technology available, I do not understand why they do not make it easier and more accessible.

An area with all services, including showers. The surroundings are a little neglected. You spend the day for €3 and electricity costs €1 per day. They did not charge us for emptying or filling. Quite good, surrounded by olive trees with an incredible smell.

A shame; the area is very poorly managed. There is usually nobody to open the barrier, and if you call the phone, they do not even answer. Do not bother going.

Unfortunately, despite having a reservation, we could not even enter—we could not believe it. WARNING! If you arrive after 7 p.m., you cannot access it, and to make matters worse you must leave before noon. The organization of the area is very poorly designed; they need to understand that when travelling you cannot cancel your itinerary to arrive on time, especially when unforeseen delays occur.

Everything here is prepared to welcome you. The staff are friendly and attentive, the area is clean, and the pitches are large for caravans or motorhomes. You can camp properly with your awning. There are showers, washbasins, grey- and black-water emptying. Its location is perfect for visiting the village, hiking or renting a bicycle for a route, since the rental centre is here.

Good area. You have to reserve online through the town hall website, then pay with the confirmation at the bicycle-rental shop at the entrance. Electricity costs €4, also paid at the shop. The hot shower uses tokens: €1.50 for four minutes. Good for the Greenway. Some pitches are dirt but level; limited shade and some noise.
