Central spacious site, paid utilities

Actually a good motorhome site. But those boy racers! The municipality seems not to have noticed that the car enthusiasts are not only a nuisance here, but also creatively interpret the traffic regulations in several ways. The bicycle street in the middle is used as a drag-racing strip. Oh well.✦Translating

We cannot understand how so much effort was put into developing this beautiful motorhome site, yet nothing is done about the boy racers. A shame; we will not come back because we want to sleep undisturbed.✦Translating

The municipality has done a really beautiful job. You can quickly reach the town and the banks of the Eder. However, it is incomprehensible that the city cannot control the boy racers. They speed very close past the motorhomes until deep into the night.✦Translating

Very convenient for the town and dog walking. Toilet emptying and water just over the bridge at the entrance to the car park. Only cost is drinking water and electric if you need it. I definitely recommend this place.

We stayed at the other site in Frankenberg overnight. But the disposal facility here is brand new and perfect! Please make sure to use everything carefully. The site is centrally located and has everything a motorhome site can offer. Unfortunately, the boy-racer problem is present until late at night even on weekdays.✦Translating

Great site, central for visiting the town, with emptying facilities and fresh water. In the evening, however, the local young men really test their cars in the rest of the parking area. For us it was during the week, but it ended around 11 p.m.✦Translating

New, well-designed parking bays, long enough even for vehicles over 10 m, with almost 2 m between neighbors. The brand-new pedestrian bridge provides quick access to the old town. Located at the edge of the car park, and everything is free, including very good Wi-Fi! Only electricity and water cost extra (€2 per kWh, supposedly compensating for free overnight stays). Card payment possible. Disposal facilities are before the access bridge. Concrete, with no shade.✦Translating

Well-designed free motorhome site. BUT electricity at €2 per kWh is overpriced and incomprehensible to me. In addition, it is a meeting point for the village youth with their noisy cars. A shame, but I cannot recommend the site.✦Translating

I am not really sure what to say. The street-meet youth have their meeting point here. I guess it has existed since people got cars, and you are not going to change that. So it is rather naive to create a motorhome parking area here. But the parking area is exactly what we need, and I assume the intentions are good. It is near the city park and everything.✦Translating

A huge thank-you to the city of Frankenberg for the great, free motorhome site. Anyone bothered by the few young people here should look for a five-star campsite with a site manager and fixed quiet hours. We felt very comfortable here and will gladly return.✦Translating
