Unnamed Road, 6893, Vik i Sogn
Been here?
This is a spacious gravel place beside a lake, reached by a paved road, with room for at least 10 vehicles. The clear water is suitable for swimming, and camping is possible on the stony ground. A nearby power station produces noise comparable to a waterfall. There are no services, and wind can make sleeping difficult in colder weather.

Perfect place for a dip in the cold water! That is the only reason i came here. Looks like a good spot for overnight stay except for the noice from the powerplant. But it is not that bad. Would be possible to sleep with it as background sound.
Very nice location, very good access, and plenty of space—I would say for at least 10 vehicles! Camping is possible if you can cope with the stony ground. Very clear water; swimming is easily possible. Attention! There is a hydroelectric power station here whose noise is comparable to a waterfall. It did not bother me because it is an absolutely constant and somewhat aggressive sound.
For us, the spot was rather poorly chosen for a roof tent in October. It was very windy all night, and we could hardly sleep because of the wind noise. In summer or in a camper with good weather, it is certainly a beautiful place, but in cooler temperatures it is better to stay a few meters lower. The approach on the paved road is easy. The gravel area is large enough for many vans.
