Just spent a nice quiet night here. Large car park next to some kind of communal hall. Nice view of the castle. There seems to be free WIFI. Free to park. No services. Very little shade so it was hot. A short walk into the beautiful town and castle.
Good place for visiting the castle and the pleasant little old town.
Big car park by the town congress hall. No problems day and night. Riverside car park out of order due to storm damage.
The site was fine, with plenty of space. We parked and went for a walk around the village. When we returned, stalls were being set up for the market the next day, so we did not stay overnight. No services.
A huge unsealed dirt area, badly rutted by water runoff after heavy rain. I do not think there is a single level place to park anywhere, so I moved elsewhere because it did not seem worth the trouble.
Large parking area next to the multi-purpose hall. It is dirt with a slight slope and was full of puddles after the rain. Views of the castle, peaceful at night.
Safe and quiet spot. Spent several nights there with no issues. There are some interesting hiking routes through the hills
Parked next to the multi-purpose fairground. Quiet at night and safe during the day. Easy access to the centre nearby. Keep the blinds open and enjoy the wonderful starry sky!
Perfect for a peaceful stay.
Really calm spot to stay for a night, big parking spot. The toilets are on the other side of the parking lot further away from the castle like a 5 min walk. Really nice area to explore for half a day.
Large car park. To correct some comments, it is 90% sloped; only the lower section is level. As for the market, it is held only on the first Thursday of each month. Good for visiting, as it is directly opposite. The only services are rubbish bins. No shade, but we felt safe.
The market takes place in this square on Thursdays. Some stalls are set up on Wednesday evening, which makes it possible to squeeze in. We spent one night near Lidl. Thanks to that store. There are other places, but they were too sloped for us.
big and even parking lot. Very close to the castle. Just walk up one road. Definitely not worth it to go to the village roads leading up to the castle to find a closer spot. this is already as close as it gets :)
Magnificent open area at the foot of the castle.
Large car park with a market on Thursday morning, but it is possible to sleep there by parking right at the bottom near the glass building. The market takes place in the higher sections.
Great large parking lot, good for visiting the town.
Seems perfect. Unfortunately, I had to leave at the end of the day because there was a flea market the next day. So pay attention to event days.
Simple parking area near the town. There is plenty to visit: the castle, the church, and the archaeological remains. If you want to try a real Portuguese restaurant, there is an excellent one nearby, O Salvador.
Great place to stop for the night. nearly flat and quiet at night. some traffic evening and morning. lovely town to visit and explore. police passed by, looked, but didn't stop.
Easy access for all vehicles. Bins but no other services. Lovely view of the castle. Short walk into town. Very quiet at night. Would use again.
