Riverside parking, occasional music noise

I use this spot when working in Liverpool. Car park overlooking the Mersey, good amount of space and almost always a few motorhomes, so feels safe. No public toilets, but there is a daytime Cafe nearby. Height barrier has been removed, please be respectful and discrete, or the council will add one again. The promenade is very safe but don't venture into the woods, it's a popular cruising spot.

Few car parks in this area, barriers were open. Close to mersey, good for dog walk by the front. Large grassy area for the kids, few bins about. No toilets. We didn’t stay as there was endless cars playing music and too much noise. Went to nearby omskirk, as didn’t feel like we would get any sleep. This may be due to the hot weather tho!?

Stayed three nights in October. Away from housing and other buildings. Plenty of spaces, a few other motorhomes, and it felt safe. You can hear cars entering the car park and some music, but only until 11 p.m. Will use it again.✦Translating

Lovely free overnight location within walking distance to the bus stop for Liverpool Albert Dock. £2 one way per adult . Cycle path along the promenade. Views of the River Mersey . Miller & Carter steak house just across from the car park. Litter bin on site . Will use again .

Mostly quiet. Next to a huge grassed field leading down to river Mersey. Zero facilities. Does have a Miller & Carter Steak House 2 mins walk away. There is also some kind of sports facility behind. I did wonder if you can use showers etc for a small fee. Fantastic views across the estuary Currently (June 2024) the height barriers are tied open, allowing entry by most vehicles.

Stayed here for several nights during the first week of May. It felt secure, with other vans nearby and was quiet. The car park surface isn't quite flat (slops towards the water). Would definitely recommend.

A convenient and quiet place at night, very close to Liverpool. Cars come to listen to music, but the last ones left at 11 p.m. I was more bothered by vans leaving their engines running for an hour in the evening and morning for heating.✦Translating

very good opportunity to stay overnight for a visit of Liverpool or to take the ferry to Ireland on the next morning. Actually pretty quiet, good to take a walk along the coast. No facilities though. there were quite a few vans and motorhomes. but there are at least two different parking lots.

Great place to stop over, with great walks and only a 20-minute cycle ride into Liverpool! The only downside was kids in their cars, loud music, and other noise. Most left by 10:30 or 11 p.m., but my lovely neighbours stayed until 1 a.m. After that, I had a great night's sleep. A few other campers were there too. Lovely pub 30 minutes away on foot, or five minutes by bike. Will come back, perhaps avoiding Friday nights.✦Translating

Perfect for visiting Liverpool! There is no longer a height restriction, with large, level parking spaces on asphalt, a large green area next to it, and the 500 bus five minutes away on foot, reaching the city centre in 15 minutes! A little noise in the evening, but very quiet at night. Prefer the second parking area, as the first is closer to the roundabout and has more traffic and parked cars.✦Translating

Lying here now listening to the seabirds after a very quiet night. This is a super spot. About 10pm there was a bit of tooting from some kids presumably but it was only a 10 minute bit of revving. We were the only van here and it has been one of my favourite spots. Miller and Carter handy also. Also a very handily placed double drain
