The price is an absolute rip-off. Anyone who goes there has only themselves to blame.
I thought the listed price of €180(!) was a typo. It isn't! I am speechless.
At this price per night (yes, including the spa and breakfast), I find it more than questionable to offer the parking area as a motorhome pitch. This could have been mentioned when making the reservation. Upon arrival, we were simply told: “That is the pitch without electricity.” We left somewhat disappointed and annoyed. See the picture with the red circle.
The pitches without electricity are in the car park, but have a beautiful view of the mountain range opposite and the sunset. They are very shady for the motorhome, so without good batteries be careful if staying several days. Breakfast is excellent, and extras such as scrambled eggs are not charged separately, contrary to the previous comment. Great hiking and cycling opportunities all around, directly from the site. Everyone must decide for themselves whether the wellness price seems reasonable. The food and drinks in the restaurant are top-notch and priced accordingly.
The pitch with electricity is dreamily beautiful beside a huge meadow, although there is no shade. The breakfast buffet is average; extras such as scrambled eggs with mushrooms are offered and charged without prior notice. Other restaurants also serve very tasty food. The hotel's furnishings and spa are excellent, but the price for pitches without water or waste facilities is absolutely excessive.
Excellent for the price :) You get everything for the spa in a nice bag, with a deposit such as a driving licence. Extremely clean and quiet. The breakfast was exceptionally good. Easy and challenging hikes can be taken on foot, such as the Klausenbach Gorge. Fast response when requesting a pitch through the website.
Camping at its finest. The wellness area is great for relaxing and enjoying peaceful hours. We ate in the restaurant in the evening. The Wiener schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn are legendary. The breakfast buffet is also very good and the perfect energy boost for the day. The price is perfectly reasonable. I would gladly come again.
